James Earl Saxon, 78, of Elizabeth Township, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016. He was born February 20, 1938 in McKeesport and was the son of the late James E. and Hildred Ehrhardt Saxon He was retired from Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his son, James William (Aimee) Saxon of Avonworth and daughter, Cynthia Ione (Bryan) Abraham of Shaler, and grandchildren, Natalie Marmion, Ella and Logan Saxon and Leia Abraham. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ione Stack. There is no visitation.

Service will be held in the chapel of Mount Vernon Cemetery on Monday March 21 at 9 am. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Condolences may be made at gilbertfuneralhomeandcrematory.com
