Florence Marie Leeper, age 83, of White Oak, died January 10, 2019, at the St. Anne Home of Greensburg . Born September 15, 1935, Acme Pa., she was the daughter of the late Anthony G. and Lottie I. (May) Miskovish and the wife of Richard B. Leeper, for over 65 years.

Florence worked at Frans Restaurant of Acme, PA in her early years, where she met the love of her life, her dear husband Richard. Florence dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She was very passionate about her faith and loved to read the Holy Bible. Florence was also a Sunday School Teacher, Home Bible Studies leader, Pioneer Girls teacher and a Home EC teacher for a private school. She also worked in the McKeesport Hospital, where she was an Emergency Room Tech. Florence was co-owner and operator of the Dairy Queen of White Oak, she sold Avon and did housekeeping throughout her life as well. Florence loved to travel, road trips by car or motor home and especially cruises. In the winter she lived in Florida, where she enjoyed walks on the beach looking for sea shells and shark teeth. She also enjoyed playing board games with her friends and family. In addition to her husband Richard, she is also survived by her children, Greg ( Dawn) of Elizabeth Twp., Darlene Sharon (Tim) Smith of White Oak, Brenda Marie (Mark) Applebee of Kittanning, PA and Shawn Keith (Lisa) of Grant, FL; grandchildren, Brenton, Lauren (Timothy) Keibler, Kayla, Jordan, Isaac, Hannah Smith; great grandchildren, Declan, Ava, Colton and Ivan; siblings, Dorothy Farkosh of Donegal, Harry (Charlotte) Miskovish of Kentucky and Carl (Jeannie) Miskovish of Eldred. PA; also many nieces and nephews. Florence was also preceded in death by siblings, Harold "Bud" and Mary Rega. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Florence's son-in-law, Rev. Mark Applebee will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Joy Cemetery of Mt. Pleasant PA. Memorial contributions are suggested to Applebee Interactive Ministries, P.O.
