Richard W. Kohl, age 69, of Glassport, formerly of Port Vue, died April 25, 2016, at UPMC McKeesport. Born April 10, 1947, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Roy Hamilton and Anna (Barowich) Kohl and the husband of Judy (King) Kohl, for 47 loving years.
Richard was a US Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He then continued his military career until he retired as a Command Master Chief Corpsman, with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Port Vue American Legion Post #447. He enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and loved spending time with his children.
In addition to his wife, Richard, is survived by children, Rhonda (Antonio) Coria of Glassport; Rickey (Stacy) Kohl of Clovis, Ca and Christopher Kohl of Lockport, NY; grandchildren, Antonio and Rica Coria, Andrew Briones and Kendall Kohl; brother, Robert (Joanne) Kohl of Minerva, OH; nephew, Steve (Kristine) Kohl of Minerva, OH; niece, Katherine (Scott) Welch of Houston, TX.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, April 29, 2016, from 11 a.m. until the time of memorial service at Noon. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate.
