Joseph W. Campbell, Jr., age 93, of Clairton, died July 28, 2020, at home. Born June 8, 1927, in Elizabeth, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph W., Sr., and Margaret (Boyd) Campbell.

Joe was retired from the former Continental Can Corporation, where he worked as the lead line mechanic. In his early years, Joe was a volunteer Civil Air Patrol, U.S. Air Force Auxiliary. He was also a member of the F&AM. Joe was an avid automobile enthusiast and was proud to show off his tool collection.

He is survived by his children, Lorraine Harrison of Washington, PA, Joseph Campbell, III, of Clairton, Karen (Vaughn) Grady of Bridgeville, Eric (Nellie Ann) Campbell of McKeesport, and Timothy Campbell of Port Vue; grandchildren, Heather, Nicholas, Joseph IV, Jason, Sean, Eric, Alexa, Valerie, Melissa, Christie, and Timothy, Jr.; great-grandchildren, D.J., Reese, Zayne, Hunter, Neco, Alexis, and Gabriel; siblings, Dean Campbell of Las Vegas, NV, and Nellie Foster of Elizabeth; also nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by his grandson, Nicholas.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, August 15, 2020, from 11 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
