Patricia M. Shaffner, age 73, of Whitaker, died December 9, 2020, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born April 2, 1947, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Johanna (Karkoska) Kusek and the wife of the late Robert Shaffner.

Patricia worked many different places throughout her life and retired from the Homestead Waterfront, where she worked in general maintenance. She devoted her life to caring for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching television and caring for her home. Her greatest joy was helping raise her grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her children, Lorie (Herman) Niedermeyer of Whitaker, and Jason Shaffner of Glassport; grandchildren, Kendra, Bailey, Alex, Clarisa, Jocelyn, Jaden, Chloe, and Jason, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jakova, Leanna, Leo, and Camila.
Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment will be in St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery of Munhall.
