Edward Crosby was born December 24, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA, to his mother Eileen Mills and the late Edward Crosby, Sr. He graduated from 5th Avenue High School in the Hill District. He later worked for the City of Pittsburgh. He moved to California for a couple of years and returned back to Pittsburgh, and began his career working for Yellow Cab services, where he would retire from.
He enjoyed his job with a passion, and anyone who was in his company found him to be caring, charismatic, and having a great sense of humor; Edward was a devoted husband to his wife Linda Crosby and a dedicated father to his children, Tamika Johnson and Brandi Johnson from a previous marriage. He had two sisters Simarae Crosby and Celeste Underwood, and a brother David Crosby. He host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, family, and friends. His joys were watching western movies and spending time outdoors. His personality was endearing to all that knew him. He was well-loved by his family, friends, and peers. He was called upon the Lord, and he will be missed but never forgotten. Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
