Gertrude M. Himich, age 92 of McKeesport, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 5, 2016.  She was born on February 12, 1924 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (Lewandowski) Kulczynski and the wife of the late Michael Himich.  Gertrude worked for Murphy’s Warehouse and the Carnegie Library of McKeesport.  She loved Polkas and most of all, spending time with her family.  She is survived by her sons, Dale (Debbie) and Michael (Carol) Himich; daughters, Barbara (Thomas) Kostovny, of West Mifflin and Susan (Thom) Himich; grandchildren, Shawn (Stacey), Christina, Diana, Christopher, Melissa, Amber (Steve), Michael, Daniel, and Joseph; great-grandson, Shawn, Jr., and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her son, David; granddaughter, April; brothers, Harry, Edward, Frank, Raymond and Donald; sister, Betty.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday from 2-9 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 11 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church.  Fr. Steven Palka will officiate.  Interment will follow at St. Mary Polish Cemetery.  Condolences may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com
