Helen E. (Morgan) Sabol, Age 77, of West Mifflin, suddenly fell asleep in the Lord at home on Friday, August 5, 2016. Born January 31, 1939, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Neubauer) Morgan. Mrs. Sabol was a faithful member of SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church Duquesne, a retired customer service associate of the former Hills Department Store in West Mifflin and loved gardening.
Loving wife of the late Michael E. Sabol; she is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Richard) Dowdle of West Mifflin, Linda (George) Garrison of Duquesne and Sharon (Anthony) DiThomas of Jefferson Hills; a sister, Marie (Ed) Pferdehirt of Forest Hills; three granddaughters, Melissa, Maria, and Gianna; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Morgan. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A blessing in the memorial home on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 9:30a.m. will be followed by a liturgy of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in SS. Peter Paul Church with Rev. John Cuccaro as celebrant. Burial will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin. Parastas service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the memorial home.
