Kay A. Curry, age 77, of Jefferson Hills, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the home of her niece and nephew Sunday, August 8, 2021 in Monongahela. She retired as the owner of Curry's Corner in West Elizabeth. A former member of West Elizabeth United Methodist Church, she was a former scalehouse operator at Charles Bluestone in Elizabeth. She enjoyed time with her family and was an advocate and lover of animals.

Born April 9, 1944 in Jefferson Hills, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Barrickman Sr. and the late Mary (Wray) Barrickman. She is survived by her brother, James Edward (Mary Ann) Barrickman Jr. of Jefferson Hills; nieces and nephews, William (Andrea) Weber of Bethel Park, James Edward (Robin) Barrickman III of Pasadena, MD, Kathy (Bruce) Santina of Monongahela, Kay Lynn (Gary) Miller of Elizabeth and Susan Lloyd of Kentucky; many adoring great- and great-great-nieces and nephews; also, cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Curry - her life, her love, her world; brother, Charles Lloyd Sr.; sister and brother-in-law, Eva Weber and Clarence Weber Sr.; and nephews, Clarence Weber II and Charles Lloyd Jr. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10 AM in Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hal Dangel officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Offer condolences at www.bekavacfuneralhome.com.
