Sandy Criscuolo, age 71 of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at PinnacleHealth West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg. Born April 25, 1945 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha (Holmes) Heath and loving wife of John Criscuolo for 54 years. Sandy was well known in the community as the deli manager at Marraccini Market, where she worked for 35 years until its closing. She later went on to work as a lunch aide at White Oak Elementary School. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Christy Park, and dedicated her life to helping animals, especially her cherished new puppy, Teddy. Above all, Sandy found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Pamela (Bob) Szajnuk of Enola, PA and Timothy (Michelle) Criscuolo of South Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren, David, Kimmi, Nicholas, Danielle and Matthew; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Faye Tatters; brother-in-law, Richard Tatters and her beloved golden retriever, Precious. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 5-9 p.m. and Monday, August 15, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:00a.m., on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Patrick Church in Christy Park. Father Vince Velas will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
