Albert A. Hopton, Jr., age 70, of Christy Park, died Sept. 6, 2016, at John J. Kane Regional Center. Born April 4, 1946, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Albert Sr. and Betty (Litchfield) Hopton.
Albert was a former mill pourer at U.S. Steel Duquesne Works. He was a member of the former American Legion Post #361 in McKeesport. Albert enjoyed duck-pin bowling, playing bingo and taking trips with his family and friends at the legion. He was a beloved brother and uncle.

Survivors include daughters, Deana, Denise and Linda; grandchildren; sister, Donna Craig, of McKeesport; brother, Gary, of McKeesport and formerly of Florida; nieces and nephews. Albert was preceded in death by sister, Minerva Ward.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be Saturday morning, 10:00 a.m., in the funeral home. Committal service and interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
