Ruth L. Krise, 92, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022. She was born October 31, 1929 at home in Buena Vista and was the daughter of the late Alvin C. and Mary (Cummock) Lord. She was the wife of the late Paul D. Krise, Sr., who passed away June 15, 2012. They were married for 63 years. Ruth was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church and was retired from the McKeesport Post Office after 17 years of service.

She was the loving mother of Bonnie (Thomas) Sari, and Beverly (Dennis) James of Elizabeth Township and John (Jo Anne) Krise of Dravosburg, beloved grandma of Benjamin Krise, Paula (Frank) Painter, Jason (Barbara) Sari, Kristy (Josh) Boyer, Lauren (Michael) Cope, Jeffrey (Heather) James, and Victoria (Chris) Sisley, and beloved great-grandma of Nicholas, David, Felicia, Frankie, Jacob, Madilynn, Michael, Luke, Zack, Max, Chase, Nora, Hayden, Jordan, Grayson and Caitlyn. In addition, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Denise Krise of Fort Mills, SC., and sister in law, Elaine Mahan of Murrysville, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul D. Krise, Jr., who passed away January 16, 2020, brothers, John, Fred and Alvin Lord, and sister, Phyllis Howell. Friends are welcome Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Interment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church at 100 Timothy Drive, Elizabeth, PA 15037.
