Mary Alice Skorupski, 81, of White Oak, died Saturday, January 16, 2016. She was born April 11, 1934 in Duquesne and was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Catherine Fey Runge. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Christy Park and was proprietor of the former Western Sizzlin Steak House in Sumter, SC. Mary Alice loved to play Bingo and was a world traveler.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Nancy) Skorupski of Columbia, SC, and daughter, Cheryl Marshall of Raleigh, NC, brothers, Bernard (Lucille) Runge of Duquesne and Paul (Carol) Runge of White Oak, sisters, Marlene (Joe) Corazzelli and Faye Ann Pellasce of White Oak, and Dorrine Miller of Versailles, grandchildren, Jay (Dana) Skorupski, Nick (Christi) Skorupski, Luke (Lacie) Skorupski, Mary Skorupski, Racheal (Erik) Clark, and Victor Marshall, great-grandson, Stokes Skorupski, daughter-in-law, Darlene Skorupski, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Alan, John, Daniel, and Stanley Skorupski, brother, Raymond Runge, son-in-law, H.K. Marshall, and brother-in-laws, Leo Miller and Carl Pellasce. Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-9, Monday, January 18 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church on Tuesday, January 19, at 10:00 AM, with The Rev. Vincent P. Velas, officiating. Interment will follow at the Corpus Christi St. Mary Czestochowa Cemetery, White Oak. Condolences may be made at gilbertfuneralhomeandcrematory.com
