Jacquelyn A. Slack, 79 of McKeesport, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022. She was born March 3, 1943 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John C. and Eleanor (Johnson) Whitney. She was the wife to the late Lawrence George Slack, who passed away June 18, 2006. Jacquelyn was a long time member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - Corpus Christi. She has an energetic personality and for many years volunteered for meals on wheels. She loved gambling, crocheting, and was a roller coaster enthusiast, and she enjoyed her many trips to Ocean City, Maryland with her family.

She is survived by her son, John "Jay" (Britt Wiggins) Slack of Greensburg; grandchildren, John L., and Colton J. Slack, Brittany N. (Michael Kohan) Wiggins, Zachary R. Long, and Keith D. Luketic; sister, Katherine "Boo" Sebastian; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her son, Lawrence "Monk" Slack who passed away in July 1998; and sisters, Patricia Rowe, and Elizabeth "Queenie" Schad.
