Rodger C. Hall, age 83, of White Oak, died November 4, 2016, at his residence. Born September 4, 1933, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Friend Arthur and Ada (Toms) Hall and the husband of Anna (Salvi) Hall, for over 61 years.
Rodger retired from US Steel Homestead Works, where he was a millwright. He was a member of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, where he was an usher and a member of The Holy Name Society. He was a US Marine Corps. veteran serving during the Korean War. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed caring for his home. Rodger especially enjoyed trips with his wife to Myrtle Beach, SC and Seaside, NJ.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Maria (Alex) Primas of South Park; also many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Blanche Connelly, Winifred Marhefka, Herbert Hall, Raphael Hall and John Hall.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 6 – 8 p.m. and Wednesday, November 9, 2016, from 1 – 3 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 10 a.m. Fr. Kevin Dominik will be the celebrant. Committal and military honors will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 1640 Fawcett Ave., White Oak, PA 15131.
