Paul Ernest Vereb, Sr., 88, of Elizabeth Township, formerly of Hazelwood, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was born July 6, 1935 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Mikula) Vereb. He was married to his beloved wife of 60 years: the late Joanne Murray Vereb, who passed away May 11, 2022. Paul worked at J&L Steel for 42 years, and he spent his free time attending Steeler games, golfing and monthly breakfasts with his friends.

He was the loving and dedicated father to; Patrick (Phyllis) Vereb, Paul (Debbie) Vereb, Joni (Scott) Craighead and Jennifer (Jim) Baxter. He also loved his grandchildren dearly. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings; Veronica Vozar, Mary Hocza, Elizabeth Butchko, Andrew Vereb, Louis Vereb, Frank Vereb and John Vereb.
