Kenneth M. Lewis, Jr., 85, of White Oak, died Monday, February 29, 2016 at home. He was born December 17, 1930 in Versailles and was the son of the late Kenneth Lewis Sr. and the late Lillian Pry Lewis Powers. He was a retired Engineer for the Union Railroad with 42 years of service. Kenneth was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the White Oak American Legion and Versailles Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lyons Lewis, sons, Robert (Margie) Lewis of White Oak and Keith (Darci) Lewis of Elizabeth Township, brother, Melvin Lewis of Texas, grandchildren, Kellie, Nick, and Kayla Lewis and Justin Granite, great-grandchildren, Sheldon, Lucas, Schyler, and Jade, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Alan Lewis who died July 11, 2014. There is no visitation. Memorial service will be held at the Christy Park United Methodist 436 29th Street, McKeesport, on Saturday, March 5, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Cynthia Bloise, officiating.
