Teddy Von Hazard, 79, of Lincoln Borough, died Friday, September 21, 2018. He was born October 6, 1938 in New Castle and was the son of the late Theodore G. and Ruth (Greer) Haas. Teddy was Lincoln Borough's Chief of Police for twenty years and was also proprietor of the former Hazard's Hair Salon in North Versailles. He was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Association of Chief's of Police and was a member and past president of the Mon Valley Chief's of Police Association. He was a member of the McKeesport Sportsman's Club and the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Camp 15. He was a graduate of Community College of Allegheny County and McKeesport High School Class of 1956. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie S. (Pollier) Hazard, daughters, Lenore (Harry) Guidotti of Bethel Park, Tedi Lee (Marty) Findura of Elizabeth Township, sons, Timothy G. (Meredith) Hazard of North Versailles, and Troy L. Hazard of Lincoln, grandchildren, Thomas, Timothy, Troy and Taylor Hazard and Kaylee and Kaitlyn Findora, sisters, Darlene (Alfred) Pelkey of Finleyville, Thelma Lauritzen of Wexford, Nicki (David) Kovalcik of Penn, Sandy Doby of Versailles, and brother, James M. Haas of Lincoln, and nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his brother, John Haas. Friends are welcome Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
