Hector McLean, 84, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, quietly departed this life August 1, 2016 in Kane Regional Hospital.

Hector was born March 27, 1932 in Laurinburg, NC, son of the late Hector McLean and Savannah Buie McLean.

He worked as a Construction Worker.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Louise (Marvin) Rouse of Turtle Creek, PA, Daisy Smith of Laurel Hill, NC; two sons, Hector McLean, Jr. and Daruis McLean both of Winston Salem, NC; sister, Eula Mae (JT) McLean of Suitland, MD; brother, Excell McLean of Albermarle, NC. He was preceded in death by sisters, Geneva (Lacey) Gaibreath, Queen Ella (Charles) Hopes, Willia Mae (Matt) Lipscomb, Ollie Mae (Elijah, Jr.) Cooley, Maggie (Lawrence) Pankey, and brothers, John Archie McLean, Earnest (Mazie) McLean, James McLean, and William McLean.

Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., 2326 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania 15132.

Service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
