Michael Wilson, 66, of West Mifflin, was born September 26, 1958, in McKeesport, PA.  He was the beloved son of the late Willis C. and Pearl E. Dixon-Wilson. He was the middle child (the eldest between him and his twin brother).

Michael was known as “Peter-Mike”.  He was indeed a jokester.  “Peter-Mike” really missed his calling as a stand-up comedian. Wherever he would go, laughter was sure to follow. He was truly a social butterfly.  “Peter-Mike” never met any strangers.   He would always make you feel like you were a part of the family. He was an entrepreneur.    Family and friends knew if he had it, you had it too.  If you needed help, he would help you without asking any questions. He loved his family. You were always known as “his favorite cousin when no one else was around.”

Mike was known for these four things: his cooking, because he could outcook most cooks in Pittsburgh, and his gardening.  “Peter-Mike” was an extraordinary farmer.  He loved travel, which included fishing. Mike loved his family.

After graduating from Duquesne High School in 1977, he obtained employment at Westinghouse Air-Brake.   He later worked for Homewood Suites, a job that he really enjoyed. He later ventured out to local bars, where you would find him cooking and making people laugh.
