Elizabeth Ann Andre, age 88, of Liberty Boro died November 29, 2024, at home. Born in Morgan, PA, she married Michael Andre, whom she met while roller skating, a few years after high school and they started a family. Of all the gifts she shared with her children, perhaps the most important was her love of learning; it's no wonder that both Dan and Cheryl chose to become professional educators as important parts of their career paths.
Betty also worked for nearly 25 years as a waitress at several restaurants including her longest tenure at Skyvue Restaurant. Although she was not a traveler, she found great joy in traveling to Luxembourg with her daughter to see the origin of their family and also visit some sites where her brothers fought in World War II.
Betty was especially fond of her Westie Rescue dog, Poohpee, and the two were inseparable.
