Annette L. Butsko, age 81 of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born June 15, 1940 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Elizabeth (Ceryak) LaValle.  A self-employed beautician, Annette was a member of both Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church and the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge #248, both of Clairton.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew P. Butsko, and her brothers Rudolph and James LaValle.  Annette is survived by her son Brian A. (Marlo) Butsko of Clairton; her grandchildren Brandon, Brady, and Briq Butsko; her siblings Lucille (the late Dom) Nero and Dennis LaValle, both of Clairton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jack A. Payne Sr., age 57, of Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley. He was the founder and owner of JP Concrete and was an extremely hard worker. Born October 10, 1964 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late George A. and Marion (Ammon) Payne.

He is survived by his fiance, Debbie Gumbel of Monongahela; daughters, Sheree Payne of Buena Vista, Forever Trich, Mary Way of Elizabeth Twp. and Samantha (Kenny) Antonelli of Elizabeth; son, Jack A. (Rachel Duval) Payne Jr. of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Michael Curran, Alivia Fanala, Avery Hansen and Eli Jory; sisters, Kathy Williams of West Elizabeth, Robin (Woody) Main of Elizabeth and Kelly Starr of Elizabeth; brothers, Georgie Payne and Danny Starr of Bloomington, IN; "nephew" Walt Larkin of Elizabeth; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. William H. Simms, age 73 of Clairton, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born March 27, 1949 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Emerson G. and Grace M. (Herbst) Simms. 

A retiree from US Steel Clairton Works and a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church, William loved to fish in his spare time and was an avid and loyal sports fan to the Steelers and even the Pirates.  He is survived by his daughter Pamela (Brian) Kirlin of Winchester, VA; his grandsons Joshua and Justin Kirlin; his siblings Sandy (the late Tom) Pastore of Port Vue, Tom (Debbie) Simms of Creekside, and Debbie (Lou) Bucko of Clairton; and also many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

William R. Godfrey, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Grandview Estates. An Army veteran serving during the Korean War, he was a retired electrician manager for US Steel National Tube in McKeesport and was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Twp. Born May 19, 1932 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Russell and Frances (Lockovic) Godfrey and husband of the late Ruth Ann (Hill) Godfrey. He is survived by children, Billie Jo (Robert) Kettering of Elizabeth Borough, Jeffrey (Donna) Godfrey of Palm Coast, FL and Kelly (Greg) Godfrey of Elizabeth Twp; grandchildren, Amy Kettering Brawdy, Todd Kettering, Jeffrey Godfrey, Amber Godfrey, Hunter Humenik and Lucas Schmondiuk; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by brother, Francis Godfrey, and his second wife, Janet (Miller) Godfrey. Visitation and service were private. Lillian Sydoriak, age 91 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Mon Valley Hospital.  Born August 15, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Miodrag and Agnes (Ludwig) Ivanovich.  Lillian was a member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Baldwin and the former St. Mary's Serbian Orthodox Church in Clairton.  She also worked in the former DiCesare's Shoe Store in Clairton.  Besides her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Sydoriak, who passed away March 24, 2003, and her sisters Ellen Perch and Marion Zombek.  She is survived by her daughter Lillian Tintor, with whom she resided, and also her nieces and nephews.

Keller, age 82, of Pleasant Hills and formerly of Wilson passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital.  Born September 16, 1939 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late William Erskine and Elizabeth (Hughes) Duncan.  Suzanne worked as a claims adjuster for Highmark in Pittsburgh and was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth. Suzanne loved doing needlework and cooking for others. She was preceded in death by her husband Kevin Blake Keller. Suzanne is survived by her children Mary Beth Keller of Pleasant Hills, Sean (Beth) Keller of Baldwin, and Kevin (Helen) Keller of Beaver; grandchildren Blake Keller, Andrew (Leah) Golletti, and Brandon, Seth, and Katie Keller; great-grandson, Milo; siblings Joseph (Cynthia) and Kathleen Duncan; foster siblings James (Marti) and Mary Lee Dill; and also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings William Duncan and Catherine Kyslinger, and foster brother Hugh Dill.

William "Bill" D. Worthington, age 51, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a sales merchandiser for Home Depot in East Liberty. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a firearms expert. He loved classic cars and all his animals. Born November 30, 1970 in McKeesport, he was a son of William G. Worthington of Elizabeth and Annette (Wise) (Tony) Ferrieri of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Natalie C. (Kauffmann) Worthington; sons, Will and Jacob Worthington at home; sisters, Cass (Joe) Hicks of Pittsburgh and Lacey (David) Goldberg of State College; paternal grandmother, Isabelle Worthington of Elizabeth; also, nieces, nephews and extended family. Lurray D. Blatchford, age 83 of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born September 29, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Eugene R. Bailey and Ruth Adele (Beeker) Wheat Bailey.  A retired customer service representative with area banks, most recenly BNY Mellon, Lurray enjoyed needlepoint and reading in her spare time and was obsessed with cookbooks and word searches.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Earl Blatchford, who passed away June 15, 1996, her brother Charles Wheat, and her sister Ellen B. Singleton.  Lurray is survived by her brother Eugene (Sandra) Bailey of Newark, DE; her nieces and nephews: Carrie (Shane) O'Hare, Brooke (Matthew) Hopkins, Elaine (Jim) Bubella, Donna (David) Miller, Charles (Sharon) Wheat, Jr., Janine (Bill) Cain, Kevin Singleton, Katherine and Neve O'Hare, and Andrew Evans; and also other family and many dear friends.

Stasko, age 90 of Port Vue, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022.  Born June 30, 1931 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Kraszewski) Zaurski.  A graduate of West Penn Nursing School and a retired nurse from McKeesport Hospital, Clara was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish.  She was a former Democratic Comitteewoman in Port Vue, a National AARP member, a member of the Red Hats Society, the Glassport High School Alumni monthly lunch group.  Clara was a sports fan as well and will be remembered for her great sense of humor.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Stasko, who passed away November 22, 1974; her sons Mark and David Stasko; her grandson Michael; her sisters Jean Machawick, Laura Suchko, Mary Magdic, and Blanche Derewanko; and her brothers Steve, Walter, Edward, and Stanley Zaurski.  Clara is survived by her grandchildren David (Elizabeth) Stasko, Courtney (Ryan) Gross, Ian (Katie) Stasko, and Jesse (Krista) Stasko; her nine great-grandchildren; and her daughters-in-law Danette Stasko of Elizabeth Twp. and Kathy Stasko of Hudson, OH; and also many nieces and nephews.

Toth, who passed away December 10, 2015, and her brothers Robert, Charles, and Donald "Doc" Geletko.  Lucille is survived by her children Gary A. Toth of Clairton and Cynthia M. (Jamo) Splenda of Jefferson Hills; her grandchildren Taryn (Duke) Splenda Laha, Kristen Dugan, and Jonathan (Erin) and Steven Toth; her great-grandchildren; her sister Martha Rosko of Clairton; and also many nieces and nephews.

"Greenie" Green, age 74 of Rostraver Twp. and formerly of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.  Born April 25, 1947 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Arba and Clara (Calabrese) Green.  A retired pile driver, most recently for the Carpenters' Union Local, and a Vietnam War Veteran of the US Army.  In his spare time, Allan was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping at his place in the mountains, but not nearly as much as he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years (52 next week) Marianne (Barella) Green; his children Shane (Rebekah) Green and Sunny (David) Davis, both of Rostraver Twp.; his grandchildren Isabella and Gabriella Green and Marlee and Landon Davis; his sister Sue Cheeseman of Ormond Beach, FL; his brother-in-law William E. (Virginia) Barella, Jr. of Rostraver Twp.; and also his nephews.

An Army veteran serving during the Korean War, he was a retired pipe fitter for US Steel Irvin Works in West Mifflin. A Union Twp. Supervisor and Justice of the Peace, he was a life member of Elrama Volunteer Fire Co. and Elrama Sportsman's Club, and a member of American Legion Post 75 in Clairton, VFW Post 803 in Clairton and the Finleyville Loyal Order of Moose. Born July 1, 1928 in Elrama, he was a son of the late Matthew and Bertha (Spontak) Vibostak and husband of the late Mary A. "Mikey" (Crownover) Vibostak. He is survived by daughters, Cathy Johnson of Elrama and Lori (Jason Mitchell) Bailey of Elrama; sons, Edward P. (Christine) Vibostak of East Millsboro, Matthew P. (Mary Catherine) Vibostak of Finleyville and James (Kim Hall) Vibostak of Jefferson Hills; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Vibostak, and brothers, Pete, Frank and Mike Vibostak. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 3-8 PM. Phyllis J. Usko, age 91 of Elizabeth Township and formerly of Glassport, transitioned peacefully at home from this life to her eternal reward on Sunday, March 20, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Paul J. Usko, Jr.; her parents, George and Helen (Harchar) Grivna; and her brother, Lawrence F. Grivna.  Phyllis leaves behind her beloved daughter and caregiver Sherri Lynne, also of Elizabeth Township; her adored soon-to-be son in law Gregg A. Green of Squirrel Hill; her “sis” in law and best friend Shirley Usko (Herman Lieb) Hornfeck of Jamestown; her nieces, Ellen (William) Fagan of Brookline and Lee Ann (Jeff) Berkey of Southport, NC; her great niece, Kristin Fagan of Brookline; her “grandkitty” Polly; as well as numerous cousins and friends.  Phyllis was the salutatorian of the Glassport High School Class of 1948.  She and her husband were high school sweethearts.  She worked for 21 years as a payroll supervisor for the G.C. Murphy Company corporate offices in McKeesport, before assuming the role of stay-at-home mother to her long awaited only child.  She was a devout Catholic and was a member first of Holy Trinity in McKeesport, and then of Sts. Joaquim and Anne Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth Township.  She was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, the Highlander Ladies Bowling League for which she served as secretary on multiple occasions, and was a volunteer at Baldwin Health Center.  Her hobbies included watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and happy movies on the Hallmark Channel, crossword puzzles, and spending as much time as she could with her daughter.
