Sherry L. Hager, 74, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born January 23, 1946 in Greensburg, daughter of the late James and Marjorie (Furrer) Tray. Prior to her retirement, Sherry was a deli manager for Giant Eagle, Pittsburgh and later became a Pepperidge Farm Distributor. She enjoyed tending to her flowers in her garden, cooking, dancing, camping and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, John C. Hager; daughters, Cindi Hager, Michele Nace and her husband, Philip; brother, James Tray; grandchildren, Brittany, Corey and Madison Nace, Emma Rose and Mitchell Pfeifer. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. Ronald E. Schoffstall, 79, of West Newton, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 17, 1941 in Lawrenceville, Pa., son of the late Edward and Ruth (Pashley) Schoffstall. Prior to his retirement, Ron was a truck driver for Dolly Madison, Schwebel's and Drakes Bread. He enjoyed woodworking and upholstering, fishing, camping, loved the American Bald Eagle and actively supported the disabled veterans. He is survived by his children, Charles Edward Schoffstall and his wife, Sherry, Ronda Kardos, Nancy Schoffstall; grandchildren, Julie, Jeffrey and Charleigh Schoffstall, Alyssa Kardos and her fiance, Shawn DeHart, Matthew Kardos and his fiancee, Jodi Hans, Nicole (Dan) Foster and Jessi Smirga; great-grandchildren, Colton, Reagan, and Mason; and longtime loving companion, Elizabeth Ace.

Christopher Paul Ursiny, 39, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020. He was born August 16, 1981 in McKeesport, a son of Harvey and Candice (Carlson) Ursiny. Chris worked for his father's company, C&H Small Engine Repair and was also a landscaper. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 2000, member of Christ United Methodist Church of North Huntingdon and a new member of White Oak Gun Club. He enjoyed shooting, fishing, spending time at his family's camp in Emlenton, Pa., and loved his animals. Kathryn M. Kaminsky, 92, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Overlook Green, Whitehall, PA. She was born March 25, 1928 in Perryopolis, a daughter of the late Barney and Margaret (Valarie) Lomagno. Kathryn enjoyed baking, knitting and sewing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Rusty" Kaminsky; and brother, Tony; and sisters, Idea, Marie, Margaret, Norma and Nancy. Caroline G. Shorkey, 84, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Forbes Regional Hospital.
She was born February 1, 1936 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Elmer and Helen (Waldeck) Ginter. Caroline along with her husband James, was the founder and previous owner of Courtesy Oldsmobile and Jeep, now known as the Jim Shorkey Family Auto Group, where she served numerous roles for over 30 years, including Service Manager. She was the heart of the business.
She enjoyed spending time with her faithful kitten companions, Juju and Lemieux. Carol was an avid reader, loyal Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan, and enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Judge Judy.
She was extremely caring, supporting numerous charities and individuals who were experiencing life’s challenges.

Samantha L. Howard , 49 of Larimer died December 21, 2020 at Forbes Regional Hospital. She was born April 1, 1971 in Tampa Florida and grew up in Greensburg. She was the daughter of the late George Rouse and Carole Knight Rouse. Samantha was formerly employed as a nurse's aide. She was a member of Calvary Church. She loved music, reading, and was a lover of animals. Samantha received an Associate Degree in Medical Administration from Ashworth College. She was also a Mary Kay consultant and worked at West Penn Hospital at Hillman Cancer Center. Donald Bruce Taylor, 90, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at his home. He was born May 28, 1930 in Jeannette, a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Nesbitt) Taylor. Prior to his retirement, Don was an inventory controller for FEMCO/Gulton Fabricating and later was the owner and operator of Lee's Bar in Irwin. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War Era, was an avid outdoorsman and Pittsburgh Steeler's fan and enjoyed working on vintage cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Taylor; granddaughter, Ashley; grandson, Grant; and sisters, Leatta DeZorzi and Jean Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Leona (Bohince) Taylor; sons, Donald E. Doris Ann Ganzy, age 73 of North Huntingdon died December 19, 2020 at her home. She was born July 7, 1947 in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Frank and Ann Vice Margita. Doris was a member of St. Stephens Church, North Huntingdon. She was a registered nurse working at Braddock, Mercy, Shadyside and Forbes Hospital. At age 45, she enlisted in the U.S. Army and served our country during the Persian Gulf War as the second in charge of a burn unit. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, one son, Michael. Maxine S. MacMillan, 89, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Ben Avon, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 13, 2020.
She was the loving mother of Stuart, Stacy and Sarah (Alex Reutter); grandmother of Connor and Finn Reutter; also survived by nieces and nephews.
Max was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church and cherished her time with family and friends.
Prior to her retirement, Max worked for the Norwin School District and Reed & Smith Law Firm in Pittsburgh. She loved helping others, singing in the church choir and keeping up with the Pittsburgh sports teams.
