Shirley C. Turocy, age 85, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, formerly of White Oak, died Saturday, January 4, 2020. She was born in Indiana County, PA and is the daughter of the late Dale and Alice O’Harrah McQuiston. She is the wife of the late Albert R. Turocy, the mother of the late Richard Turocy and sister of the late Marion Brozosky, Harold McQuiston and Mildred Burgado.
She was a former member of Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church, employed at Westinghouse Air Brake, worked in retail at Gimbels, Sears and Rite Aid and was a lunch aid at Francis McClure Junior High School. She is survived by her son David A. Turocy of Longwood, Florida and daughter Maryalice (Daniel) Bendick of White Oak, and grandchildren Shelby and Timothy Bendick and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Wed., January 8, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow.

Timothy D. Mitchell, age 77, of Glassport, died Monday, December 23, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on August 15, 1942 and is the son of the late Aziz and Margaret Miklos Mitchell.
He served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era then worked at the former Bucyrus Erie Plant in Glassport for many years.
He is survived by his brothers, David (Linda) Mitchell of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Jonathan Mitchell of Glassport.

You will forever be in our hearts and in our lives. Aiden Mason Rugh came into our lives on August 18, 2019 with little blue lines. He lived for 23 weeks and 6 days. On December 20, 2019 we were given the news that he was no longer with us. Aiden graced this world on December 21, 2019 at 9:47 pm. He weighed in at exactly 10 oz. and was 9.5 in. tall.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his family: his mother, Lisa; his father, William; his 2 big brothers, Kaleb and Sebastian as well as his loving grandparents, William and Patty, Rebecca and Douglas, and Aiden’s Aunt Heather and Uncle Greg, and his Uncle Patrick.

JoAnn Eisele, age 83, of McKeesport, formally of North Versailles, died on December 13, 2019. She was born in Morgantown, WV on November 21, 1936 and is the daughter of the late Hobert and Opal McCartney Hennessey. She was a long-time member of Christy Park United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being a part of the choir, and a devoted member to the First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport. JoAnn worked, with her late husband John, at the former Wiltshire Poultry Farm for several years.
She is survived by her loving son John W. (Pam) Eisele Jr. of McKeesport; loving grandchildren, Nadine Eisele, Erica and Angeline Bottger, Kelly Stanich and Kari Hurley; great grandchildren Austin, Max and Benjamin. Geracimos “Jerry” D. Hionis, age 88, of White Oak, fell asleep peacefully with the Lord on December 13, 2019 at home surrounded by his beloved family. He was born in Kefalonia, Greece on March 27, 1931 and is the son of the late Dennis and Theodora Yakoumatos Hionis. Although he endured poverty and war, the great earthquake of 1953 which destroyed most of the island, was the main reason he came to the United States for a better life. Jerry was employed at US Steel in Homestead and was a painter in his spare time. He has been a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in White Oak which he eagerly assisted many others in building the church. He was the life of the party, and was known for his zest for life, his generosity for helping others, sense of humor and a passion for hunting and his yearly trips to Greece.

Tom Leonard Wardropper, age 78, of Elizabeth, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 9, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on September 19, 1941 and is the son of the late Harry James and Edna Samantha Littleton Wardropper. He was retired from the U.S. Navy serving his country for over 21 years. He then was employed at GE Apparatus Plant in West Mifflin until retirement. He was a member of Port Vue United Methodist Church and enjoyed travelling, especially to his place in Palm Beach Shores, Florida.

Raymond C. “Rev” Pater, age 96, of McKeesport, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at his residence. He was born in Glassport on January 28, 1923 but became a life-long and proud resident of McKeesport at a very young age. He is the son of the late Anton and Leona (Josek) Pater. He was the husband of the late Bertha (Szilagyi) Pater, who died February 20, 1998. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Caroline Lucas, and brother, Joseph Pater. He retired from General Motors' Fisher Body plant in West Mifflin with 35 years of service and was a member of the UAW. He was a very devoted employee for GM always saying, "I asked them for a job and was grateful they gave me one" and always drove a GM car!
He is survived by daughter, Nancy (Peter) Anderson of Akron (Green), OH; son, Raymond J. (Linda) Pater of West Deer Township, PA; four grandsons and three great-grandchildren. He loved his family, and we loved him, and feel blessed to have had him with us for so long.
