Adrienne Ann Kapisak of Greensburg, formerly of Port Vue and White Oak, died Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was born in McKeesport, PA on June 25, 1943 and is the daughter of the late John and Anna Pribish Kapisak. She is survived by cousins and friends.
She graduated from McKeesport Hight School, Class of 1961, the Indiana University of PA with a BS in Ed., and received her M.Ed. from the University of Pittsburgh. Adrienne pursued further education during her teaching career though National Science Foundation grants at various schools throughout the United States.

Marjorie June Glancy Brannan, age 93, of N. Versailles, PA, died at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 29, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Raymond V. and Harriet Murphy Glancy and was born in Gallitzin, PA on July 6, 1925.
She was married for 53 years to the late Edward J. Brannan who died January 29, 2002. She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Rhonda) Brannan of Annapolis, MD; Robert (the late Sheree) Brannan of Pasadena, MD; Maureen (the late Andrew) Ryan of Wall, PA; Lorraine (Gene) Rizzo of N. Versailles; Bernadette (David) Galinskie of Shiremanstown, PA; Christine (Michael) Reed of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren, Andrea Murajda; Jonathan (Emily) Brannnan; Elaine (Dan) Fisher; Vincent Brannan; Ellen (Craig) Wilson; Emmalynn Galinskie; Lucas Reed; Elise Galinskie; Kaitlyn Reed. Also, great grandchild, Layla Wilson and step grandson, Jay (Aimee) Murphy; step great-grandchildren, Kate and Sarah Murphy and sisters; Dolores Sylvestor of Columbia, S. Carolina, Romaine (Joseph) Boley of Hollidaysburg, PA and many loving and caring nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Walter Buck and Betty and Howard Anstead.
Marjorie graduated in 1943 as a Registered Nurse from Ohio Valley General Hospital and continued as an employee. While raising her children she was employed by McKeesport Hospital and the former Columbia Hospital located in Wilkinsburg. She was very active in volunteering for her children’s school and church, St. Robert Bellarmine. She was involved with the Girls Scouts of Western PA while serving as a leader for over 25 years and then serving on the Catholic Committee on Scouting for more than 40 years. Marjorie also volunteered for many years at St. Peter’s Child Development Center working with special needs children. She volunteered for the East Allegheny Meals-On-Wheels well into her nineties.

Elizabeth "Betty" Lindahl, age 88 of Marion, Texas, formerly of White Oak, entered eternal life on Sunday, June 23, 2019. She was born May 2, 1931 in Versailles Boro, the daughter of the late John and Bertha Nemeth Bunda and the wife of the late Robert Harold Lindahl. She was a banquet hostess employed by the Palace Inn Restaurant for many years. Betty was also a graduate of McKeesport High School, Class of 1949. Betty was always an active member of her church, McKeesport Presbyterian and Immanuel United Presbyterian. She was a loving animal advocate and rescue supporter who very much loved her dogs, Daisy and Pearlie. Betty loved to cross-stitch, cultivate flowers and work puzzles in her spare time. Those she leaves behind will most remember her for her love of God and family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, neighbor, friend and wife and will be truly missed by all. She is survived by daughters, Valerie L. (Larry C.) Moore of Marion, Texas and Michelle Lindahl of Orlando, Florida; granddaughter, Elizabeth Leslie Moore of Marion, Texas; nephews, Charles Beres of Pfafftown, North Carolina and Martin Beres of Ottawa, Canada. She is preceded in death by her 12 siblings. John E. Chlystek, age 90, of McKeesport, died Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was born June 1, 1929 in McKeesport, the son of the late Adam and Cecilia Weron Chlystek, and was the husband of the late Georgetta Craine Chlystek. John served in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired from McKeesport’s former Fort Pitt Steel Casting Company.
He is survived by his daughters; Patty Smith of Myrtle, SC, Cathy (Bob) McCort of Blairsville, and Tammy (Lou) Warman of McKeesport; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

David Hubert Scott, age 67, of North Versailles, died Monday, June 3, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on July 8, 1951 and is the son of the late Hubert W. and Dorothy Emma Prezel Scott. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam war. He was a chef at Robert Morris University and at Parkhurst Dining in Pittsburgh.

Domenico Consales, 89, of White Oak, died Monday, May 27, 2019. He emigrated in 1963 from his birthplace of Mondragone, Italy, where he was born on March 14, 1930. He was the oldest offspring and only son of the late Salvatore Consales and Matilde Del Prete.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Michelina (d'Aiello) Consales and daughter Matilde of White Oak. He is also survived by sisters; Vittoria Consales of Rome, Italy, and Maria Consales of Caserta, Italy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carmela.
In Italy, he worked in agriculture with his family from a very young age, and for many years. In the United States, he began working in shipping and packing for Berarducci Brothers. He was a welder at Reliance Steel in Christy Park, a machinist for Westinghouse Airbrake, and a guard at Kane in McKeesport.
He was a member of St. Angela Merici Church. He was known for being a very strong-willed, anxious, independent, neat, organized, and frugal man. He told many stories of his beloved Italy. He loved to walk, read, sunbathe, garden, and bake bread, all while being very much a homebody. He could build or fix anything for the home from scratch, often with impressive detail. He enjoyed desserts and Italian music. He was a devoted husband and dedicated father. He was a thoughtful brother, and caring and affectionate uncle who loved talking to and being with his family.
Friends and family will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (412-678-6177) on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Karen Litzinger, age 74, of Pitcairn, died Thursday, May 16, 2019. She was born in Pittsburgh on October 8, 1944 and is the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Bungert Argall.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dave Litzinger; sons, David (Annie) Litzinger of Irwin and Brian (Maria) Litzinger of Apex, NC; grandchildren, Elise an Brendan Litzinger; sisters, Arlene (the late George) Saula of Grampian, PA and Melanie (William) Hansen of North Huntingdon, PA; nieces and nephews, Shani (Dane) Germuska, Shara Hopkins, Brent (Chrissy) Hansen and Brynn (Phil) Morgan and numerous great nieces and nephews. Patricia A. Monoyoudis, age 84, of White Oak died Tuesday, May 14, 2019. She was born in McKeesport on December 13, 1934 and is the daughter of the late George and Elsie Peterson McAdoo. She is the wife of the late George Monoyoudis. She was employed by the city of McKeesport where she served as the City Administrator. She held the position of Treasurer in 1976 and served in various capacities throughout the years. She was employed part time at Compacting Tooling, Inc. in Elizabeth. She was a member of the former McKeesport Symphony Board and the Jodie Matta-Dillinger Cancer Care Foundation at UPMC McKeesport, she was a McKeesport High School graduate and loved working on the reunion committee and she was a member of the Friday Lunch Group.
