Zabaglo Swiech.  Larry was a freelance artist who loved working with stained glass and digital art. He was a member of the Visual Art Alliance of Austin, Texas and the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, also known as the Pittsburgh Artists Guild.

Edward J. Vojtek, age 89 of West Mifflin, died Saturday, January 20, 2018. He was born in McKeesport, the son of the late John and Agnes Vojtek, Sr., and husband of the late Phyllis Gray Vojtek. Edward served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Alaska. He worked as a press operator for GM in West Mifflin until his retirement. Edward loved hunting, was an avid trap shooter and belonged to several gun clubs. He is survived by his daughter Donna (John) Nixon of Mansfield, Ohio, granddaughter Erin (Dean) Pontikos of Brecksville, Ohio, 2 great grandsons, William and Johnny, and brother Albert (Martha) Vojtek of Fort Gratoit, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his brother John Jr., and sister Emma Mehalik.

Huntingdon; loving aunt of Lisa (Michael Traeger) Stein and Ashley (Tim) Ballas; loving great aunt of Alexandria, Aria, and Aurora. Cheryl was a beloved friend and employee of Home Depot in N. Versailles for fifteen years. She was a friend to many, always kind and caring. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach and camping with her kids when they were growing up.

Armand A. Lombardo, age 87 of White Oak, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018. He was born January 13, 1931 in the Bloomfield section of Pittsburgh, the son of the late Armand E. and Elena F. Mazzotta Lombardo. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School and the University of Pittsburgh. Armand was the former owner of Reliable Auto Service in McKeesport. He was a teacher for Allegheny Intermediate Unit and was an accomplished artist, woodworker, carver, and sculptor. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, and gardening. He was also an outstanding chef who loved baking bread and preparing delicious Italian meals for family and friends.

Curtis Waligura of Monroeville; daughters, Megan (Christopher) Brengel of Morristown, NJ, Emily (Scott) Deke of Dallas, TX, Melanie (Timothy Collins) Waligura of Dallas, TX, Kathryn (Arianne Smith) Waligura of Cincinnati, OH; sisters, Georgeanne Schlicht of White Oak, Margaret Schlicht Creehan of McKeesport, Patricia (Joseph Quinn) Schlicht of Squirrel Hill; brothers, George R. Schlicht, Jr. of McKeesport, John (Jill) Schlicht of Atlanta, GA; and grandchildren, Patrick, Parker, and Cameron. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Michael, and her sister-in-law, Lillian Martinez.

Tessy received her nursing degree from the McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing and then her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Penn State University.  Her relationship with her husband, Curt, began while she was working on the IV team at McKeesport Hospital.  She worked alongside him for over 15 years as the office manager and patient care advocate.  Tessy loved to play golf and enjoyed late nights at the casino.  She was fond of traveling with Curt and their close friends, as well as fine dining and red wine.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
