Marlene C. Tiskiewicz, age 88 of Port Vue died December 26, 2024 at home. Born April 22, 1936 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Smith) and the late Roy Wiggins, Sr. and the wife of 58 loving years to the late Richard J. Tiskiewicz.
Marlene worked for over 10 years as a bookkeeper at the former G.C. Murphy Co., where she inadvertently developed a lifelong love of shopping. She also loved decorating for every holiday, inside and outside of her home in Port Vue, along with meticulously caring for her yard. Marlene's greatest joy was spending time with and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up.

David Shearer, age 63, of McKeesport, died December 7, 2024, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born November 4, 1961, in Braddock, he was the son of the late William Maxwell Shearer and Margaret (Ord) Shearer-Zawasky and fiance of Judy (Oddo) Barber.
David dedicated much of his life to his work as a roofer, honing skills that helped many in his community. His hands, calloused yet gentle, carried a profound knowledge that turned houses into homes. In retirement, he found joy in his other passions, particularly fixing cars and motorcycles. Nothing brought him more satisfaction than breathing new life into machines, a testament to his creativity and steadfast dedication.

Born with a nurturing spirit, Kim dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role that encompassed her passion for kindness and compassion. Kim was a devoted mother to her daughter, Cara Sloss, and the proudest grandmother to her grandsons, who were the light of her life. There wasn't an event she would miss, her infectious enthusiasm and unwavering support made her their number one fan, and she embraced the role of "grandma" to all children who had the privilege of knowing her.

Theresa worked various jobs throughout her life. Theresa and Jack enjoyed attending Oldie shows, dancing, and the classic car shows. When she wasn't entertaining her family on the holidays, she enjoyed trips to the casinos to play the slots and the many wonderful places her and her husband traveled to. She was able to visit Italy and Hawaii; They drove cross country, visiting Vegas, the West Coast and many other places along the way.

Erin was an avid animal lover her entire life, and was extremely devoted to her own dogs. Erin was vibrant and lively; she loved dancing in her youth.

Elizabeth Ann Andre, age 88, of Liberty Boro died November 29, 2024, at home. Born in Morgan, PA, she married Michael Andre, whom she met while roller skating, a few years after high school and they started a family. Of all the gifts she shared with her children, perhaps the most important was her love of learning; it's no wonder that both Dan and Cheryl chose to become professional educators as important parts of their career paths.
Betty also worked for nearly 25 years as a waitress at several restaurants including her longest tenure at Skyvue Restaurant. She enjoyed baking, crafting, embroidery, and quilting, and was an award winning crocheter! She was a member of Saints Joachim and Anne Parish where she attended St. Eugene Church and formerly sang in the choir and was a past member of the Christian Mothers. Although she was not a traveler, she found great joy in traveling to Luxembourg with her daughter to see the origin of their family and also visit some sites where her brothers fought in World War II.
Betty was especially fond of her Westie Rescue dog, Poohpee, and the two were inseparable.
