She loved Jesus and in 1995 she and her husband were baptized at Riverview Baptist Church where she was an avid volunteer for many years. In 2014 she moved to Florida to live near her son and his family. There she grew to love the beach, went on many adventurous road trips with them and furthered her Biblical education with their ministry, King's Gate Church. She supported their ministry and volunteered there as well.
