Naomi A. Brown, age 89 and formerly of Arlington, VA, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at The Palms at O'Neil, McKeesport. Born November 26, 1934 in Oakton, VA, she was a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Inscoe) Feidler. Naomi loved her job as a telephone operator for Bell Atlantic, later AT&T, and was a proud and active employee and co-worker Her family will remember her as strong-willed, self-reliant, organized, and fastidious, but always with a soft spot for dogs. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, the late Michael Todd Brown, and her siblings Dorothy Potts and William and George Feidler. Naomi is survived by her nieces Jackie (the late David) Kantor of Jefferson Hills, Charlene (Chris Tognarine) Pavlik of Jefferson Hills, and Lisa J. (Patrick) Loera of Port Vue, and also other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Judy was a retired school teacher and had worked in the Vandergrift School District and the Wattsburg School District. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenock and was a graduate of Thiel College. She is survived by her husband, The Rev. Frank L. Zeman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Dr. Oscar Cole-Arnal. Friends are welcome Thursday, July 11, 2014 from 11am to 1 pm at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral Service will be begin there at 1 pm. The Rev. Scott Bryte will be officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles. James Ray Stevens, 84, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed away on June 25, 2024.
Born August 2, 1939 in Clairton, PA son of the late James and Louise Stevens. Jim who was a proud Navy Veteran, lived a very fulfilling life. Friends and family knew Jim best for his ability and enthusiasm to fix, repair and improve any and everything. It stemmed from his time in the service paired with a successful career journey working for both US Steel and General Motors.
Jim will be remembered by his favorite hobbies, especially RVing and traveling with his wife Ruth (Cochenour) Stevens. Jim spent much of his time on his prized passion of golf. He was well respected in tournament play and had recorded one ace (hole-in-one) in his career. Jim was a proud member of several fraternal organizations including, Freemasons (33rd degree) and a dedicated Elks Lodge Member.

William E. Banks, 76 of Dravosburg, formerly of McKeesport, passed away peacefully on July 6,2024, at home after a short battle with cancer. Born to William E. Banks and Marjorie (Banks) Sopko on May 6, 1948. Affectionately known as Billy, he was the loving husband of 52 years to LaVerne (McKelvey) Banks. In addition to his beloved wife LaVerne, he is survived by his daughter Brandy (Jeremy) Linn, grandchildren Lauren (Derek) Zinkhon, Riley (Grace) Linn, Natalie Linn and Caleb Linn of Springfield, Ohio and granddaughter Baylee Banks of West Mifflin, Pa, siblings Thomas Banks, Larry Banks, Barbara Zapf and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he is preceeded in death by his son Benjamin W. Banks and sister Geraldine Filson. Billy served his country while being enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. He also worked as a Corrections Officer for the State of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Dravosburg American Legion Post 380 and was the one and only President of the Dravosburg Volunteer Fire Departments #1 Social Club. A Catholic Mass will be held Wed., July 17, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, followed by a repast at D.V.F.D. #1, 598 Ravine St., Dravosburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requestes donations to be made to The Jodie Matta-Dillinger Foundation and/or Dravosburg Volunteer Fire Department #1.

(Sandra) of Gibsonia, and Kurt W. (Deborah) Freismuth of O'Hara Township, daughter, Jenifer (Chris) Palazzo of Saxonburg, , sister, Thelma Milcic of Pittsburgh, grandchildren, Kristina Freismuth, Stephanie Freismuth, Kurt Freismuth, and Jonathan Freismuth, nieces and nephews.
