She was born September 28, 1936 in Glassport and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Helen (Mihock) Lowicki. Marcy was a member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Pleasant Hills. She loved her family, gardening and bird watching. She was retired from Macy's and the former Kaufmann's.

She was born April 13, 1938 in McKeesport and was the  daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Hutchinson) Golz. She was the wife of the late Walter W. "Wally" Gibbons who passed away February 11, 2018.  She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church, where she served in many positions including church secretary. Darla worked as a Confidential Secretary for Bettis Atomic Laboratories, she was also a secretary for Clemson University.

Agnes was a retired Phlebotomist for Dr. Bonessi and Dr. Sabeh in White Oak. Agnes had a love for the Lord and leading people to Jesus.

Robert "Bobby" Francis Johns, Jr., 36, of Glassport, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019. He was born May 4, 1982 in McKeesport and was the son of Robert Francis Johns, Sr., and Lee Ann (Atkins) Johns of Elizabeth Township. Bobby was a carpenter and worked for Export Crate and Boxing in Glassport. He was an outdoorsman and loved being around rivers and fishing. He was also an avid Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Riley Johns of White Oak, sister, Jillian (Vincent) Monti of Baldwin, brother, Jesse (Lauren) Johns of West Mifflin, grandmother, Patricia Atkins of Baldwin, and nieces and nephews. David Edward Shutts, 82, of Christy Park, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He was born August 30, 1936 in New Castle and was the son of the late Floyd R. and Kathryn Mae (Parker) Shutts. He was the husband of the late Dolores (Ayers) Shutts who passed away February 26, 2007. David was retired from the former US Steel Duquesne Works and was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his sons, David E. Shutts, II., of Export and Daniel (Vince) Shutts of Elizabeth, brother, Wayne " Floyd" Shutts of Dravosburg, 3 grandsons and a great-grandson, a niece and 2 nephews. There is no visitation. Eleanor R. (Andrejcak) Hecker, 85, of White Oak, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Eleanor was born April 9, 1933 in Duquesne  and was the daughter of the late Stephan and Mary (Sabol) Andrejcak.    She was wife of 31 years to the late Frederick W. "Bud" Hecker, Jr., who passed away June 25, 2018.  Toots, as she was also known, graduated from Duquesne High School in 1951 and worked in retail sales at Kaufman's, Gimbel's and Sak's for over 40 years. Loving sales work, she was a friend and blessing to all. She was an active member of St. Angela Merici Parish and also lived in Naples and Celebration, Fl with her late husband Bud.

Virginia M. Nigro, 92,  of North Versailles, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March  3, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 24, 1926  in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Crystol)  Beondy. She was the wife of the late John N. Nigro who passed away July 29, 2002. Virginia was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church and was proprietor of the former Nigro's Restaurant in North Versailles. Her business began from a small restaurant on Route 30 in North Huntingdon called LaDonna's. After outgrowing that establishment, she and her late husband, John Nigro, purchaesed the old L & B Dairy on 5th Avenue in North Versailles which then became Nigro's Restaurant in 1969.

He was born January 5, 1926 in Coulter and was the son of  the late Raymond and Helen Ransick.  He was the husband of the late Gene L. (Gilbert) Railingshafer who passed away November 27, 1986. He was a member and past fire chief of the Greenock Fire Co. and was a WWII US Navy Veteran.  Darrel was retired from US Steel Duquesne Works and had previously worked for the former Watson Paint and Glass in McKeesport,  and also with the former Gilbert and Son in the construction of the Greenock United Methodist Church.

Harry E. Beresford, 93, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, February  26, 2019. He was born October  10, 1925 in Versailles and was the son of the late James and Helen  (Rosenkranz) Beresford. He was the husband of the late Esther  (Woleslagle) Beresford who passed away June  27, 2010. They were married for 64 years.  Harry was a US Navy WWII Veteran. He retired from the former Pittsburgh Press and was a former member of Riverview Baptist Church and First Free Evangelical Church in McKeesport. He is survived by his son, James W. (Cindy) Beresford of White Oak, granddaughters, Adrienne Alger and Jamie Beresford, and a great-grandson, Ethan Alger. He was born May 2, 1947 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Frank and Zorrie  (Grba) Kulczynski. Ron was a member of St. Mark Church- Liberty Worship Site. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and continued his commitment to the Navy by spending his entire working career at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. He admired and respected the comradery of organizations such as the Clairton Sportsman's Club, the American Legion, and the Veteran's Association.

Emil was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in McKeesport and was a retired Industrial Engineer at the former General Motors Fisher Body Plant in West Mifflin. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1948 to 1952.

Debra A. Bertoty, 46, of White Oak, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born October 4, 1972 in McKeesport and was the daughter of John G. and Sandra (Shaffer) Bertoty of White Oak. She was a 1990 graduate of McKeesport Area High School and attended Penn State McKeesport and California University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Mentally and Physically Handicapped Education. Debra was employed 23 years as a special education teacher in McKeesport Area School District where she was a second through fifth grade learning support teacher at George Washington, Cornell, and Centennial Elementary Schools and, most recently, at Francis McClure Intermediate School where she was the third, fourth and fifth grade life skills teacher.
