Helen Ida Pope, 89, of Port Vue, died Thursday May 4, 2017. She was born August 22, 1927 in Thatcham Newbury, Berkshire County, England and was the daughter of the late James Edwin and Harriet Jane Treacher Pottinger. She was the wife of the late Solomon N. Pope who died October 4, 1989. Helen was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her sons, Rev. Edwin D. (Bonnie) Pope of Port Vue and Brian (Carol) Pope of Kennedy Township, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was born April 10, 1943 in McKeesport and was the daughter of Dorothy Hall Daugherty of Greenock and the late Robert Daugherty. Karen was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenock and was retired from the G.C. Murphy Co, after 35 years of service. She was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. Karen loved Arts and Crafts. She worked with Ceramics, Wood and Glass and enjoyed cross stitching. She was also an avid gardener. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 53 years, William J. Rollason and son, William R. Rollason of North Huntingdon.

William "Bill" Blaise Davis, Sr., 71, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday April 27, 2017 at home. He was born March 14, 1946 in McKeesport and was the son of the late William H. Davis and Adeline L. Barto. Bill was a retired Dispatcher for Port Authority Transit. He was a member and past master of Duquesne-McKeesport Lodge #731 A & FM, and was also a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Valley of Pittsburgh, and Local Union # 85. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra Mae Donaldson Davis, daughters, Renee Owens of Duquesne, Laurie L. (Dan) Kopasko of Irwin, and Kristen M. Burnett of North Huntingdon, sons, Richard Davis of Ohio, and William B. (Melanie) Davis, Jr., of New Cumberland, grandchildren, William B. Davis, III., Zachary A. Kopasko and Katelynn M. Kopasko, Giovanni W. Davis, Mark and Ashley Malinowski, Chelsea Davis and Keith Natale, 2 great-grandchildren, a niece and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved dog Harley.

Henry David Jasiewicz, 71, of McKeesport, died Tuesday April 25, 2017 at home after a courageous battle with brain cancer.  He fought until the end.  He was a 1963 graduate of McKeesport High School. Owner/operator of Renzie Auto Center and leader of, Henny & the Versa J's polka band.  Also former member of the Bell Hops Orchestra.  Henny was a 2005 Grammy nominated recording artist.

He was born May 22, 1945 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Henry T. and Josephine Balawadjer Jasiewicz. Married,  Joan A. Wirth Jasiewicz on April 8, 1967.  Father of Teri Jasiewicz (John) Binkiewicz of Pickerington, Ohio and Henry J. "Butchie" (Teresa Whitney) Jasiewicz of Hempfield Township, PA. Brother to Diane "Dee-Dee" Jasiewicz Ogrodny (late Stas) of Nashville, TN.

He was a retired Crown and Bridge Technician for Dr. Charles Jones' Dentist Office in Versailles and was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Dorothy L. Richard was a boilermaker for Local 154 and a member of the E.A.A.A. Richard was a family man who loved his children. He enjoyed playing baseball and riding quads with his kids.
