Sally retired from the Allegheny County Record of Deeds after approximately fifty years of service.

Mary “Molly” Gertrude Haughey, age 97, of North Versailles, PA, formerly of McKeesport, PA died on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. She was born in McKeesport, PA on February 8, 1927 and was the daughter of the late James Gregory and Gertrude Mary Clay Haughey. Molly was a 1945 graduate of Saint Xavier’s Academy in Latrobe, PA retired after forty-two years as a secretary from B&O Railroad. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling throughout the world. She was also a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish.

Christine Hamilton, age 93, of White Oak, PA, died on Friday, July 26, 2024 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in McKeesport, PA on July 8, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Dr. Arthur Henry, Sr. and Henrietta Michael Hartman. Christine graduated from the Pennsylvania College for Women, now Chatham University, in an era when this was not commonplace for women. She was a member of the McKeesport College Club, and the 20th Century Club where Christine served as past president in both clubs. She also volunteered for McKeesport Meals on Wheels, the McKeesport Regional History and Heritage Center, the McKeesport High School Alumni Association as well as many, many other organizations and charities that are too many to mention. She was absolutely one of the kindest women ever born. She truly loved her children and her many, many friends with whom she spent so much time enjoying her life.

She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church.

Robert Henry “Bo Wagner” Bogesdorfer, age 78, died on Saturday, July 13, 2024. He was born in Whitaker on March 24, 1946 and is the son of the late Henry G. and Lucille Bogesdorfer. He was an entertainer his entire adult life and was the lead singer for the Vogues for over 30 years. He then went on to create a Rat Pack Tribute.

Maxine Helen Miller, age 88, of Port Vue, PA, died on Monday, July 15, 2024. She was born in Turtle Creek, PA on September 18, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Max and Elizabeth Hodgson Brickley. Maxine was a 1953 graduate of Turtle Creek High School. She was employed at Westinghouse, then EMT Service, and later as an office manager for a podiatry office. She was a member of the former Glassport Assembly of God (now River City Church AG) for over 35 years. Maxine’s interests included playing piano in her band, “Just Us”, at retirement homes, in her church, as well as participating in Vacation Bible School and Missionettes. She enjoyed archery, bowling, was an extremely talented seamstress, and made the most beautiful crafts. She also enjoyed writing children’s books.
