Linda was born on July 2, 1945 in Reno, Pennsylvania. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Joseph Watkoski; daughters Ann (Wes) Mayles and Kate (Dan Driggers) Watkoski; grandson Alex Mayles; and numerous brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Francis “Hike” McGarry and Evelyn McGarry, and her brother Daniel McGarry.
Linda was a 1967 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and later received her Master of Education at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a passionate and dedicated teacher at Norwin School District for over 30 years and served many roles including high school business teacher, FBLA advisor, and third grade teacher. She had a great love for nature and animals. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be forever remembered for her loving, patient, and selfless nature toward everyone.
At Linda’s request, there will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Bridges Hospice (bridgeshospice.org) or the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org). Penelope S. Morgan, 79, of North Huntingdon passed away May 25, 2024, peacefully in her home having been surrounded by her family and loved ones in the days before her passing. She was born March 13, 1945, in McKeesport to the late Alfred and Frances Sayers.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 55 years Gerald T. Morgan. An everlasting love from the moment they first met. Her three wonderful and loving sons, Lee, Brett (Katie) and Tate (Julie), though it did take her a broken wooden kitchen spoon or two to make them wonderful. Her loving grandchildren, Emery, Lily, Isabella, Leyton, Asher and Meredith as well as many loving In-laws, nieces and nephews. Her sister, Pamela (Chuck) Cottle of White Oak, Pa and her brother Paul (Janice) Sayers of Grand Forks, ND.

Mindy M. (Bickerstaff) Colligan, 60, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024. She was born October 16, 1963 in McKeesport, a daughter of Donna M. (Pepper) Bickerstaff and the late Ronald L. Bickerstaff, and was also preceded in death by her husband David Colligan. She worked as a beautician, and enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Big Bear Lake, WV. She was a sports fan who liked going to Steelers Games, and her music selection of choice was loud rock n roll. She is survived by her son Johnathan Wargo (Alexa Shoup) of Greensburg, and daughter Shannon Wargo of Jeannette; sister Lisa Vandervort (Bill Blair) of Greensburg; and niece Celeste Begandy (Bryan Hladycz). On Friday, May 24, 2024, Evelyn Joanne Krivansky of North Versailles, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 85. Evelyn was the eldest daughter of the late Anthony S. and Julia A. (Bocek) Sitko and the beloved wife of Joseph R. Krivansky. Evelyn was the loving mother of Mark (Lynda) Krivansky, Greg (Sandy) Krivansky, Wayne (Michelle) Krivansky, and Kelly (Jim) Sholtis. She is survived by her children, grandchildren: Eryn Krivansky, Jenna Krivansky, Scott Sholtis, Matthew Krivansky, Andrew Krivansky, Tyler Sholtis, Ashley Krivansky, and Cole Sholtis; and two great-grandchildren: Julian and Emma Sholtis; along with her siblings Arlene Stanczak, William (Sandra) Sitko, and Janet (Jack) Barrett, her in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Evelyn worked in the accounting office of GC Murphy before starting her family and dedicated her life to serving as a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Known for her remarkable memory and commitment to maintaining traditional recipes, you can bet there was always something delicious to be found on Evelyn’s abundant table. Evelyn’s lifetime passion was playing bingo, a game which brought out her competitive edge. Later in life, Evelyn discovered a love of camping, where she spent many joyous summers with friends and family.

Arnold S. Kastronis, 92 of North Huntingdon died May 26, 2024 at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh. He was born June 5, 1931 in McKeesport a son of the late Steven and Johanna Mazor Kastronis. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a steelworker for US Steel and Camp Hill. He was an avid deer hunter and hard working man who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Loretta, brother John, and sister Josephine Prest. He is survived by son Arnold (Martha); daughter JoAnn (Mark) Timm; grandchildren Alicia (Brian) Rinkes, Ian Kastronis, Rene Wenner (Don Lee), and Brian Timm (Erin); great grandchildren Aubrey, Emilia, Jaelyn, Donovan, Bailey, Jacob, and Stella; and brothers Vince, Steve, and Chris Kastronis. Joseph Rusinko, age 78 of North Huntingdon passed away May 25, 2024 at Redstone Highlands, North Huntingdon with his family by his side. He was born November 7, 1945 in McKeesport, a son of the late John and Anna (Bohanic) Rusinko. Joe was a member of St. Stephen's Byzantine Catholic Church. He was very proud of his Slovak heritage. He was an avid reader as evident by the library of books he amassed. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a teacher for McKeesport Area High School for 30 years where he started computer science classes and distance learning through Pitt. Joseph earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Penn State and a Master's Degree from Pitt. He was also the past owner and founder of WESTPA Tax Preparation and Accounting Service. He was a past member of the Greater Pittsburgh and Central Pittsburgh duckpin bowling leagues. He was known for the countless afghans and blankets he crocheted as gifts. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria (Bajcura) Rusinko in 2017 and brother John Rusinko. He is survived by his two children in which he took great pride; a son, Joseph V. Rusinko and his wife Lauren, and daughter, Jennifer M. Garvin and her husband Robert. He was the proud Dzedo of his 3 grandchildren Hannah Rusinko and Katarina and Samantha Garvin. He was their number one fan and took great pride in all of their accomplishments. In addition, he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and family in Slovakia. Timothy (Timi) David Fite, 32 years old from Glassport, was born on May 18th, 1992. Timi unexpectedly passed away on May the 22nd, 2024. After Timi’s father passed away in 2016, Timi sadly lost his way and had a long battle fighting his own demons in which he ultimately lost to. Timi’s personality and smile is something that will never be forgotten. Anyone that truly knew Timi would tell you that he had a hug that was undeniably comforting and had a smile and laugh that could really light up a room. Timi’s personality and presence is something that is going to be irreplaceable. Timi enjoyed dirt bikes and quads, sports, music and mostly selfies! Timi was a hard worker and any job he worked at he did with passion! Timi loved harder than anyone we knew even on his darkest days, he just always wanted to stay true to his word, be the best son, brother & friend. Timi is survived by his beloved mother Joyce Scheidter, siblings Tara Fite (Keith), & Taylor Fite (Cassidy), & step brother Derek Betchy (Darcie), niece Kenadee and nephews Karver & Korbin Schibik. His three dogs Pup Pup, GiGi & Lambchop. grandmother Yvonne Waugaman, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Timi is preceded in death by his father Timothy O’Shea Fite, dog Pinkey, grandparents Paula Scheidter (Umma), Thomas Scheidter, Charles Fite, Robert Waugaman, and Thomas King. We know Timi is in heaven at this time, with his music blaring so loud you can hear it miles away and asking which hat matched his shoes best and which watch he should wear, 10 times over! Timi will most certainly be missed by his family and friends. Our “home team” will never be the same without him.
