Debra Denise Walmsley, 65, of Clairton, formerly of North Huntington, passed away on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at her home. She was born in McKeesport on May 21st, 1959 to the late Terrence Patrick Murphy and late Dorothy Walters Schad. She was the loving wife of 43 years to the late Robert Ackland Walmsley. Debra is survived by her daughters Jennifer Schad of Punxsutawney, Starr Walmsley of Duquesne, guardianship Spencer Schad of Bridgeville, sisters Tammy (Michael) Miller of North Huntington, Sandra Henretty, brother Terrence (Ginger) Murphy, Jr. of Greencastle, grandchildren Alex, Emily, Rylee, great grandchild Lainey her beloved pets Millie and Reese, grand-furbabies Gracie Gray and Mizar, as well as many nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by her parents. She was a member of the Sons of Columbus, the V.F.W. as well as the WACC Club. Debra worked as a professional commercial seamstress and also worked for Johnny’s Glass for over 10 years. John H. Greenwald, age 97, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Southwestern Nursing Center. An Army veteran having served during World War II, he retired after 18 years from the Jefferson Borough road crew. He was the longest living member of labor union Local 1058. He loved his dog, cutting grass, shopping, and going to flea markets. Born September 18, 1926 in Jefferson Hills, he was a son of the late Alvin and Edith (Barton) Greenwald and husband of the late Wanda F. (Godlewski) Greenwald. He is survived by children, Dan (Kathy) Greenwald of Elizabeth Twp., Robert Greenwald of Fayette City and David (Dineen) Greenwald of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Mark (Chrissy) Greenwald and Robert Greenwald Jr.; great-granddaughter, Riley Greenwald; also, nieces and nephews. Enrico "Rick" R. Sestito, age 90 of Clairton, passed away peacefully in the morning hours on Friday, June 7, 2024. Born January 15, 1934 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Sam and Anna (Toth) Sestito. He was a US Army Veteran, a multi-instrumental enthusiast, competitive swimmer and loved to sing any chance he could. Rick was extremely crafty and spent much of his time in his wood shop creating and painting many pieces for friends and family. He also loved to travel when he was able. Rick was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton and the St. Clare Anglers' Club. He retired after 43 years as an operator for Keystone at US Steel - Clairton Works. Besides his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his wife, the late Carol T. (Tuttle) Sestito, who passed away June 5, 2012. He is survived by his sons Enrico "Ricky Joe" Sestito of Kennedy Twp., Leslie S. (Teresa) Sestito of Jefferson Hills, and Vincent A. (Kathy Seneca) Sestito of Robinson Twp.; his grandchildren Krystal Sestito, Anthony (Mackenzie) Sestito, Tyler Sestito, Samantha (Jesse) Bernard, Isabella (Liam Storey), and Marina Sestito; his great-grandchild Aiden Sestito; his sisters Carol (Dave) Kaminski of West Newton and Lillian (the late John) Moore of Gambrel, MD; his loving girlfriend of 10 years Janice Schaming; and also many nieces and nephews.

David Wayne Fennessy, 70, of Monroeville, PA, passed at home, surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. David attended Duquesne University before beginning a journalism career that spanned more than 40 years. He first worked at The News-Dispatch in Jeannette before spending a majority of his time with The Daily News in McKeesport. His roles included sportswriter, editor, and page designer, with his sports writing making him a minor celebrity in the Mon Valley.
David was a man of deep faith and an active member of Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish/Saint Bernadette Church, serving as a money counter, lector, parish council member, and youth group leader. He was a co-leader for many high school retreats and mission trips to Kentucky, and more recently was a men’s group member and Emmaus Retreat Leader. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4925, 4th degree, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians – Division 17. David, perhaps best known as Fenn, was a collector of music, T-shirts, and hats.
He was an inspiration to many, especially in recent years, as he quietly endured the many challenges life presented.

Jerry A. Zebrak, age 71, of Port Vue, died at home on June 3, 2024. Born on April 17, 1953, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Laura (Brzek) Zebrak and was the loving husband of 39 years to Leslie (Lape) Zebrak. A proud graduate of McKeesport Area High School in 1971, Jerry worked many years as a research technician for a refractory company before retiring in 2016. Jerry actively engaged with his community, being a member of the 11th Ward Club and the Port Vue United Methodist Church. But it was his love for family and friends that truly defined him. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as watching Hallmark movies, with a soft spot for heartwarming Christmas classics. His love for family and friends was evident in every moment spent together, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. In his younger years, Jerry enjoyed playing in softball leagues, partaking in fishing excursions, and golfing. These activities brought him immense happiness and left him with cherished memories. A man of kindness, integrity, and a gentle spirit, Jerry's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and had a knack for making people laugh. Yet, his legacy of warmth and compassion will continue to inspire and guide those whose lives he touched, reminding us of the power of a life well-lived.
