Sharon Ann Sabo, age 76, of Blaine Hill, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church in McKeesport. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her dogs. She liked gardening, cooking, baking, and taking care of her home. Born June 9, 1944 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Anna (Homer) Buchina. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Sabo Jr.; son, Joseph J. (Diane) Sabo of Blaine Hill; daughter, Melanie Sabo of Blaine Hill; also, nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Buchina Sr. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Stephanie Ann Carey, age 49 of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born December 13, 1971 in McKeesport, she is the daughter of David and Janice (Harsmanka) Pysz.  The office manager and an insurance agent for Klingensmith Insurance Agency in Versailles, besides her parents, Stephanie is survived by her husband Michael Carey, her son Adam Carey, her brother David M. Pysz, her brother-in-law Philip Carey, III, her nephew Layke Katona Pysz, and her great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father-and-mother-in-law Phil and Betty Carey, her grandparents Adam and Cecilia Harsmanka, and her aunt Lucille "Luba" Harsmanka.

Frances M. Elyes, age 92 of White Oak, passed away at home on Monday, May 31, 2021.  Born April 6, 1929 in Clarksville, she was a daughter of the late Steven and Mary (Grgas) Barnish.  A retired waitress at Woody's Restaurant in Versailles, Frances was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick's Church, the CFU Lodge #146 of Versailles, and its Ladies' Club.  She joins her husband, the late Charles J. Elyes, who passed away August 31, 2018.  Frances is survived by her children Karen (Greg) Rybar of White Oak and Charles E. (Donna) Elyes of Versailles; her grandchildren Matthew (Amy) and Christopher (Cassie) Elyes, Jennifer (Robert) Dailey, and Jessica Matthews; and also her seven great-grandchildren.

Charles C. "Duke" Tullius

Charles Coleman “Duke” Tullius, age 87 and formerly of Clairton and Elizabeth, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, May 29, 2021 after a long illness.  Born December 20, 1933 in Clairton to the late Edward and Barbara (Mulkerin) Tullius, Duke was a proud 1952 graduate of Clairton High School.  He served in the US Army at Fort Hood, TX where he was a tank commander.  Returning to Clairton, Duke married his high school sweetheart, Gail E. Decima in 1956.  He retired from U.S. Steel Corporation in the engineering department then worked for the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council as a program director.  Duke was a long time parishioner of Holy Spirit Church in West Mifflin where he led members in Contemplative Prayer with guidance from Fr. Thomas Keating.  Duke was an ardent Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler fan.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a Little League baseball coach for many years. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Gail E. (Decima) Tullius; daughter Susan (Win) Ziders; son Dr. Charles D. (Michelle) Tullius; grandchildren Matthew (Jaclyn) Ziders, Patrick (Stephanie) Ziders, Capt. David (Philine) Tullius, Claire (Jeremy) Harris; was the loving "Great Pap" to Olivia, Katie, Elaina, Jonathan, Annie, Ailey, Lucas, and Maisie; brother-in-law to Sylvia Tullius; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Duke was preceded in death by daughter Barbara A. Tullius, sisters Jane (Wayne) Shaw and Barbara (Marvin) Owens, and brother James Tullius.

She was a former manager at Rite-Aid in Stafford, VA and a former member and Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Elizabeth Chapter 418. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Born November 3, 1956 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Doris (Rothey) Vucenovich. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Steve Perhach; son, Robert (Amy Fisher) Perhach of Elizabeth; grandson, Jonathan Steven Perhach; granddaughter, Jenna Marie Perhach; sister, Ruth Ryan of Monongahela; stepsisters, Sherry (Tom) Dodds of Elizabeth Twp. and Maureen (Ron) Harding of Elizabeth; also, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Steven David Perhach, and sister, Linda Vucenovich. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Alice M. (Steiniweg) Waltonbaugh, age 80, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at home. She retired as a supervisor at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was a member of Elrama United Methodist Church. She loved playing cards at the Senior Citizens Center in West Newton and enjoyed her weekly lunches with the ladies from church. Born October 29, 1940 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Bedsworth) Steiniweg and wife of the late Allan J. "Nook" Waltonbaugh. She is survived by sister, Grace (Joe) Oliver of New Eagle; brother, Harold (Carol) Steiniweg of Petersburg, VA; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Betty McDevitt. No visitation or services are planned. Burial is in West Newton Cemetery. He retired as a salesperson for Guns Priced Right in Dravosburg and was a former employee at Anthony Arms. A former bartender and steward at Blaine Hill Fire Hall, loved animals and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, and music, especially Johnny Cash, George Jones and George Thorogood. Born October 19, 1956 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Nicholas T. and Blanche E. (Ruches) Yacomelli. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jessica L. (Campbell) Yacomelli; daughters, Victoria Frantz of Tennessee and Nicolette Yacomelli of Blaine Hill; sister, Patricia Ann (Albert) Dow of Cherry Hill, NJ; many special friends; also, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruth M. (McClain) Kelly, age 81, of Morrisdale, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Embassy of Huntingdon. She retired as a secretary for Pemberton's in Boston. She was a member of Elizabeth Wesleyan Church. Born September 4, 1939 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Kalkbrenner) McClain. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rev. Roy A.  Kelly; sons, David Kelly of Boston, Dennis (Cheryl) Kelly of Morrisdale and Patrick (Linda) Kelly of Macungie; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Judy Stumme of North Versailles, Diane (Dennis) Marhefka of Hamilton, OH and Sherry (Bill) Whisel of New Castle; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Pamela Kelly. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Dennis J. Kelly, age 68, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at home. He retired as a maintenance technician for King's Family Restaurant in North Versailles.

An Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was a proud foster parent through Pressley Ridge and a two-time past champion of the Horick Annual Horseshoe Tournament. Born June 8, 1952 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late John and Ruth (Gertska) Kelly Maiella.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sherry (Lewis) Kelly; children, Christine Dadey of Pittsburgh, Fredrick Kalinna of the state of California, Bryan Kelly of Belle Vernon, Shannon (Robert) McDonald of Florida, Jerald Kelly of Strabane Twp., Kerrie Kelly of Jefferson Hills and Trisha (Sean Smith) Kelly of Elizabeth Twp.; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Lisa (Jerry) Raymond of Peters Twp., Linda (James) Winschell of Canonsburg and Valerie Kelly of Philadelphia; brothers, Daniel and David Kelly, both of the state of California; also, nieces and nephews.

Born November 12, 1932 in Versailles, he was a son of the late William J. and Mary Jane (Haywood) Jenkins. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joy L. (Wilkop) Jenkins; sons, William H. She was also a member of the Sons of Columbus, Genova Council #6 of Clairton and the Bell Pioneer.  Susan is survived by her son Anthony (Denise) Basilone of Ellenton FL, his son Christopher (Shyra) Basilone and his daughter Nadia, and daughters Bianca and Gianna Basilone; her daughter Michelle (Michael) Mitchko of Canonsburg, her sons Michael (Courtney) Mitchko and their sons James and Maxwell and Matthew (Vanessa) Mitchko and their children Ava and Mason.; her son Jim (Kristen) Basilone of Murrysville his sons Jimmy (Erica) Basilone and their children Niko and Keegan and Joshua (Cristen) Basilone; and her son and Jim’s twin John (Beata) Basilone of Manchester, NH and his children Dana (Grant) O’Hara and their children Dominic, Nico, and Lucca, Jonathan (Danielle) Basilone and their children Anthony and Lino, and Shane Basilone;  also many nieces and nephews; and Susan’s dear friend who was like a daughter to her: Donna (Rick) Selby.  Besides her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her great-grandson Liam Basilone; her sister Ann Yacavace; and her brothers Anthony, Dominic, and Carl Nero who are all eagerly awaiting her arrival in Heaven.

Born February 11, 1938 in Wheeling, WV, he was a son of the late Harry and Roberta (Thomas) Stricklin and husband of the late Bernadette Ann (Chasko) Stricklin. Daniel Patrick Miller, age 75 of McKeesport, passed away at home on Friday, April 30, 2021.  Born February 26, 1946 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Patrick C. and Alberta (McClure) Miller.  A retired steelworker at US Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport who also was a co-owner of Mr. Chips Cafe in the Pittsburgh Courthouse and served as a pit crew member for Chip Ganassi's Formula 4 racing team.  He was also a US Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, a member and past commander of the American Legion Post # 577 of McKeesport, a scuba diver, and avid Steelers fan.  Daniel is survived by his sisters Kathleen (Ray) Takacs of North Huntingdon and Patricia (Chuck) Evans of Broken Arrow, OK, his brothers Ken (Patricia) Miller of Lisbon, OH and Thomas (Susan) Miller of Maumee, OH, and also nieces and nephews.
