Rose Marie Steele, 74, of Port Vue, died Tuesday May 9, 2017. She was born July 14, 1942 in Lincoln Borough and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Ann Pavlik Ross. She was the wife of the late Roy O. Steele. She is survived by daughters, Tina (Robert) Burgman and Lisa A. (Tom Boehm) Steele of Port Vue, sons, Roy (Maria) Steele of Christy Park and Frank (Sherry) Steele of Lincoln Borough, sister Jean Ross Blosser of Christy Park, grandchildren, Kayla, Jeff, Richelle, Heather, Jason, Chelsea, and Amber, great-grandchildren, Bryson, Kadence, Jayden, and Adalyn, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ross and brothers, John, Dominic, Frank and Charles Ross. There is no visitation. John C. "Jack" Serena, 86, of West Mifflin, died Friday May 5, 2017. He was born June 9, 1930 in Homestead and was the son of the late Lawrence L. and Agnes Shaughnessy Serena. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in West Mifflin and was the church organist and CCD teacher there for many years. He was a volunteer for The Intersection, Meals on Wheels, Auberle Home, and Habitat for Humanity. He was retired from Consol Energy and was a US Navy Veteran. He was also a licensed pilot. She was born on November 10, 1932 in Boston, PA and was the daughter of the late William and Ethel McClean Biddle. Wilma was a loving, devoted, and selfless mother and grandmother who was adored by her family. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School. She was a retired clerk at the G.C. Murphy Co., Olympia Shopping Center. Wilma was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Buena Vista Fire Hall. She is survived by her husband George E. Karen loved Arts and Crafts. She worked with Ceramics, Wood and Glass and enjoyed cross stitching. She was also an avid gardener.
