George was born in McKeesport on July 14, 1985 where he grew to love the outdoors, bon-fires, sports, and all aspects of the arts including painting, drawing, music and dancing.

George was a loving son, who will forever remain in the hearts and be remembered as a precious gift by his mother Tricia McNelis and step-father Tom Rodgers of Elizabeth Township and George J. Cherepko of McKeesport. In addition, George leaves a legacy of his precious children who he loved beyond words, Natalia, Dylan, and Colin Bargiel and their mother Amanda Bargiel of North Huntingdon, Noah Borreggine-Cherepko and his mother, Noelle Borreggine of McKees Rocks, and Makenna Lace Cherepko and her mother, Chelsea Carini of Belle Vernon.

George was a spirited and loved older brother to Damian Cherepko and sister Chelsea Cherepko of Elizabeth Township. George was the cherished grandson of Kathleen (Kathy) Allen and Toni Lipchey of McKeesport. George will also be fondly missed and loved by his Uncle, Frank (Christie) Kandcer and cousins, Rachel of Pittsburgh, Pierce, Logan and Ethan Kandcer of Elizabeth Township. George will be forever remembered by numerous additional aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was a long-time member of Linway United Presbyterian Church in North Versailles where she taught Sunday school and participated in the women’s groups. She loved doing crafts and enjoyed painting items made of wood that her late husband made. She was known by many because of her work helping voters at the polling booths in North Versailles, and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Indianapolis Colts. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 49 years LeRoy C. Perry; daughter Cathy Medved; parents John Ray and Pearl (Harper) Beatty; and sisters Wanda Morris and Sharon Norris. James Marvin Gurall, 62, of Portersville, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.  He was born in McKeesport, PA to Nancy (Dolan) and Andrew Gurall. He graduated from McKeesport High School where he played trumpet in the band and excelled in anything he put his mind to.  He was born an artist and passed the time in his younger days drawing and continued on to Theil College, University of West Virginia, and the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. James was a passionate and extremely kind and generous man who enjoyed Classic cars and collecting vintage automotive parts. He enjoyed his walks at Moraine State Park and fishing with his nephews.  He loved animals, music, cooking, Nascar, golf and football. He worked at US Steel National Tube Works and then moved on to carpentry where he was recently retired from the Carpenters Union local 230.  Jim was extremely loving and proud of his daughter, Melissa Thornton of Monongahela, PA.

He is survived by his wife and best friend Susan Gurall; his daughter Melissa (Joe) Thornton; his step daughters Amberlyn Steighner and Holly Zillionis; his brother Kim (Donna) Gurall of McKeesport, PA, his grandchildren, Madison, Abby, Max, Benjamin, Dejamoura, Serenity, Rachel, and Aaron; his sister in law Jean Vincent Ricker and nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Mike) Quallich, Angela (Jason) Collins, Lance (Crystal) Gurall, Eve McClure, Kristopher Ricker, Erik Ricker as well as many great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends.

After retiring, Kyp was able to devote time to his passion for social equality and human rights through various advocacy organizations.  He enjoyed traveling; his beloved dog Chrissy; watching golf, the Patriots, and reality TV; and being a proud grandfather. George William Buches, 54, of Jefferson Hills, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh. He was born January 10, 1963 in McKeesport to the late Stephen J. and Helen Pforsich Buches.

George was a son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, neighbor, and friend who was loved very much. He was a gentle soul with a kind heart who grew up the youngest of five brothers and a sister. George did not let any of his challenges stop him, always maintaining his sense of humor, positive attitude, and never lamenting or complaining of his situation.

With the support of his family, particularly his mom, who he loved dearly, he had a full life.

George graduated from Mon Valley High School and was active in the boy scouts where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, an award earned by less than 5% of scouts. He also earned the Ad Altare Dei, Pope Pius XII, and Order of the Arrow Honors while a member of the Boy Scouts.

He was employed by Kmart for many years as well as running his own business, delivering the Daily News, Pittsburgh Press and the Tribune Review.

In his spare time George was an accomplished artist. He drew many portraits of people he knew, including self-portraits as well as many other subjects.

George was an avid coin collector, a huge Star Wars fan and over the years loved his pet dogs Rusty, Opie, Buck, Max, and especially Riley, his last dog.

George is survived by brothers, James (Laurie) Buches of Pittsburgh, David (Susan) Buches of Middletown, DE, Thomas (Dana) Buches of Greensburg and Timothy (Tammie) Buches of Fort Gay, WV. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Buches. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton, PA 15025. A mass will take place at 10 am on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton followed by interment at St. Clare Cemetery.
