C. James Ignaczak, 77, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at his home. He was born February 14, 1943 in McKeesport, a son of the late Chester and Elizabeth (Zofchak) Ignaczak. Prior to his retirement, Jim was a tool and die maker for National Carbide with 40 years of service and later delivered flowers for Belaks Flowers, Irwin. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he served on the USS Stormes, and was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 and a half years, Marsha Doring Ignaczak; daughters, Alaina Marie (Ignaczak) Jacobs and her husband, John and Cindy Lee Ignaczak; grandson, Anthony Johnston and his wife, Stacy; great-granddaughter and the love of his life, Molly Johnston; his best buddy and dog, Curley who passed on. Jim was also member of CUMC where in the past was on the board of trustee committee for 10 years, and a Westmoreland umpire.

Hazel Ann Garrett, 90, of North Huntingdon, passed away May 8, 2020 at Redstone Highlands Greensburg. She was born June 27, 1929 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Arthur C. and Florence Horne Truxal. Hazel was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Irwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Garrett, and infant granddaughter, Amber Aiguier; four sisters, Laura Ruth Spring, Mary Louise Cline, Elsie Elizabeth Fink and Sara Jane Smith; and beloved brother, John A. Truxal. She is survived by her son, Les (Jean) Garrett of Butler; two daughters, Patricia Aiguier of Katy, TX, Deborah (Bill) Monroe of Acme; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas Bailey, 77, of West Newton, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Sycamore Estates in Duquesne. He was born March 6, 1943 in McKeesport, a son of the late Willis S. Bailey and Rita (McConeghy) Ehland. Tom was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School Class of '61. Prior to his retirement, Tom was a sales executive for World Book Encyclopedia and later was an over the road truck driver. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he was a torpedo man on the USS George C. Marshall Nuclear Submarine in the early 1960's. He was a member of the House of Faith Church in West Newton and was a faithful Christian all of his life and loved his family. He enjoyed music and singing karaoke and was a great dancer. He loved entertaining and was the life of any party.

William John Betters, 95, of Florida, formerly of Port Vue, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was born December 1, 1924 in Port Vue, a son of the late Martin and Eva Jacobs Betters.
Prior to his retirement, Bill was a self-employed plumber and contractor and was a veteran of the US Army Air Force having served during WWII. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Kurkoski Betters; and son, William John Betters Jr. He is survived by his son, Doug Betters; daughter, Dianne Quincy and her husband, Carey; grandchildren, Bree Betters Teale and her husband, Huw, Samantha Betters, Katrina Betters; and grandsons, Dylan and Jonathan Teale. Eugene Belko, 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at his home. He was born February 8, 1933 in Braddock, a son of the late Andrew and Stella Belko. Prior to his retirement, Eugene was an electrician for US Steel and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War Era. He was a graduate and football star of Braddock Senior High School in the early '50's, and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Eugene was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, and enjoyed watching western movies and visiting the casinos and playing numbers.

Ronald E. Molnar, 78, of Irwin, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at his home. He was born September 10, 1941 in West Mifflin, a son of the late Julius and Gazella Molnar. Prior to his retirement, Ron was a repair technician for Sears with 50 years of service, and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed hunting, and spending time at hunting camp and refurbishing old farm tractors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley D. Molnar, and brother, David Molnar. Violet Mae Carlett, 92, was called to heaven on Monday, May 4, 2020. Vi was born October 6, 1927, in Warren, Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents and a sister, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allan, and son, David. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Pogue (Mark) and grandchildren, Lauren and Nathan. Also surviving are brother-in-law, Owen Ferguson and nephew, Scott Ferguson (Michelle), and great nieces Chloe and Cara. Vi graduated from Warren High School, Eastern Nazarene College and The Pennsylvania State University. She taught first grade in the Warren County School District for 34 years. She loved teaching children to read. Vi was a published author writing children's reading materials for the American Book Company. She was also a successful business woman and owner of Vi's Candy Nook. Vi professed her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of the Warren First Church of the Nazarene and most recently the Norwin Church of the Nazarene.

Dorothy Lindberg Inks, 93, of North Huntingdon died May 4, 2020 at Transitions Healthcare Center. She was born April 2, 1927 in McKeesport, Pa., a daughter of the late Gustave and Mary Johnson Lindberg. Dorothy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, East McKeesport, Lutheran Church Women, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 472, Past Matron in Aliquippa 430 and White Oak AARP. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Beckwith Machinery in the data processing department. Michael C. Fisher, 39, of Jeannette went peacefully in his sleep and awoke in the arms of Jesus on April 22, 2020. Mike(Mikey) was the most caring and selfless man one could have ever had the pleasure to encounter. He loved his dog Junior and his family more than anything. He was a beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Mike delivered medical equipment to different facilities and would often stop and talk to the patients or sit with families who were grieving. He always stopped to check in on people, one of many of his charming attributes. Mike is survived by his brother Mark Fisher (Nicole) of Greensburg, sister Ashlee Pliska (Timothy) of Irwin and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Raymond "Bryan" DeMatt, 42, of Monroeville died April 20, 2020. He was born December 21, 1977 son of Kathryn Graver DeMatt and the late Raymond E. DeMatt. Thomas E. Fagan Jr., of Irwin, formerly of Coulter, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was born December 3, 1946 in McKeesport, a son of the late Thomas and Marjorie (Miller) Fagan. Prior to his retirement, Tom was a delivery driver for Elizabeth Carbide Co. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War. Tom was the recipient of the Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars and the Gallantry Cross with Palm. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of North Huntingdon and was a 1966 graduate of McKeesport Sr. High School. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed golfing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brooks John "B.J". He is survived by his son, Chad Fagan; sisters, Bonnie Heasley, Tricia Kruszyna and her husband, Rick, Colleen Haley; granddaughter, Nina; former wife and best friend, Liz Fagan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Beverly June Esasky, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020. She was born June 10, 1936 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Charles L. and Bertha Berdine (McCready) Stough. Beverly was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Jeannette. She enjoyed making blessed angels for the sick and homebound, quilting, crafting, baking and playing Bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Annette Esasky; brothers, James and Alan Stough; sisters, Janet Hoffer and Sue Ann Stough. Stanley James Kolosky, 62, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 6, 2020. He was born November 20, 1957 in Greensburg, a son of the late Victor and Emma (Weaver) Kolosky. Prior to his retirement, Stan worked in the construction industry, primarily as a drywall finisher. Stan was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin where he attended mass regularly. Stan enjoyed music, spending time with his family and was an avid sports fan. Stan will be deeply missed by all who knew him and he was simply one of the kindest people you could be fortunate enough to have known. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Jake Lyons. He is survived by his sister, Sydney K. Lyons, as well as his nephew and family, Joseph, Ember, Haley and Avery Lyons.
