Dean Alan Rinella, 70, of White Oak passed away peacefully on March 10, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on April 25, 1949 to the late Samuel J. Rinella and Helen (Zabelsky) Rinella.
Dean received a BS in Political Science and History from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977. He received a Master of Public Management (MPM) degree from the Heinz School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University in 1985.
He served his country in the US Army from 1972-1976 with a Tour of Duty in Vietnam as a Cryptographer. For his service, he received a Bronze Star and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.
He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). He worked as a Relief Foreman at United States Steel, National Works in McKeesport and a Testing Coordinator at the Allegheny County Community College, Evening Division, Northside Campus.
He is survived by his wife of over 41 years, Rosemary “Rosie” (Smith) Rinella, daughter Jennifer Rinella, son Sean Rinella, and his daughter in law, Rachna Unnithan.

THOMAS M. KULUS Age 74, of Duquesne, on February 12, 2020. He was the son of the late John and Charlotte (Chepulis) Kulus. Tom was retired from the PA Liquor Control Store in Penn Hills. He was a former member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne and the Teutonia Mannerchor Club in Duquesne. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Former husband of Connie (Tassone); Father of Pamela (Kulus) Brown of Braddock Hills, Thomas J. (Jacqueline) Kulus of West Mifflin, Cindy (Jim) Capell of Monroeville, and Marie (Bryan) Krasneski of South Park; grandfather of Heather Brown, Tanner, Bennett, and Ethan Kulus, Katie and Jimmy Capell, Ariana and Colton Krasneski. June C. Cuffin age 89, of West Mifflin, on January 27, 2020 at Locust Grove Personal Care Home. Born in McKeesport on March 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ludwig “Louis” & Isabel (Crawford) Dannenhauer. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne where she belonged to the former Confraternity of Christian Mothers & Guild. In addition, she was a former member of the West Mifflin Annex Senior Citizens & the former Duquesne Senior Citizens Fellowship Club. Beloved wife of the late Henry Cuffin, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Rose (late John) Ely, Francis Markle, Isabel (late Ray) Lineburg, Louis (late Elizabeth) Dannenhauer, Cecelia (late Paul) Bauman & Ernest Dannenhauer. Mary Lisa (Malinowski) Holzwarth age 55, of West Mifflin, on January 19, 2020, at home. Born in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Florence Husfelt of West Mifflin and the late Leonard J. Malinowski. She was a homemaker, was creative with crafts and displayed for Home Interiors and liked to play cards. She was a 32-year survivor as a heart transplant recipient, one of the longest on record, which occurred on Sept. 30, 1987 and was celebrated as her second birthday. The need for a new heart was caused by postpartum cardiomyopathy. She was the wife of John A. Holzwarth of West Mifflin; mother of Anthony James (Michele) Holzwarth of West Mifflin; grandmother of McKenna Holzwarth & Zander Holzwarth; sister of Mark (Kimberly) Malinowski of West Mifflin, Leonard J. David J. Bedont age 69, of West Mifflin, died Tuesday December 31, 2019 in UPMC McKeesport. Born January 29, 1950 to the late Mark Sr. and Beatrice (Ardiana) Bedont, he was a roll turner at the former Mesta Machine Co. and a pharmacy tech at the V.A. Hospital in Oakland. Raymond A. Tkach age 83, of West Mifflin, on December 28 in Jefferson Hospital. Son of the late Andrew & Helen (Sotak) Tkach, he was retired from Commercial Insurance Co. as a premium auditor, was a member of St. Joseph Church, Duquesne, the White Oak Gun Club, and was a photographer. He proudly served his country in the Navy. In addition he was in the National Guard and the Reserves. He was the husband of Barbara (Johnson) Tkach and in January, they would have been married 61 years.
