JEAN MARIE PETROZZA Obituary

Jean Marie Petrozza age 86, of Streetsboro, OH, fomerly of West Mifflin, and North Carolina, died Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was born November 26, 1930, in McKeesport, PA, to John and Gladys M. (Sant) Bailey. She was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish and was an avid reader. She was the beloved mother of Dr. Joseph (Lisa) Petrozza, of Mooresville, NC; grandmother of Anthony, of Atlanta, Holland Felts, of New York, NY, and Landon Felts, of Mooresville, NC; sister of LaRue (Edward) Kennedy, Sharon Hughes, and John Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Anthony Michael Petrozza in 2005; and siblings, Janice (Jim) Ferraro, Arlene (George) Meert, Diane (Lou) Eros, and James (Ernie) DeLiberato. Visitation on Saturday, May 20, 2017,  from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, PA, 412-466-3300, where a blessing service will be held   with Fr. Thomas Lewandowski officiating. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery, West Mifflin. STEPHEN W. CROWE age 67, of West Mifflin, on May 9, 2017 at home. He was the son of the late Merle and Mary Jane (Carek) Crowe. He was the owner of Duquesne Metal Products “DMP,” and also the owner of Kennywood Cycle Center. He was a former member of the former First United Methodist Church of Duquesne. He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Patricia  (Bair) Crowe; father of Kimberly Ann (A.J.) Crowe-Lescinsky, of Lincoln Boro, and Stephen (Michelle Noonan) Crowe II; grandfather of Samuel M. Crowe. James McAllen age 92, of Penn Hills, formerly of Duquesne, on March 19, 2017, at Southwestern Veterans Center. He was a son of the late Archibald and Stella (Shoop) McAllen. Jim was retired from US Steel Duquesne Works as a crane operator. He proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. He was a member of the VFW, Ft. Louden, PA and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, Steelers, Pirates and Pitt Football. Husband of 65 years to the late Marie E. (Jugan) McAllen; father of James Robert (Donna) McAllen of Baltimore, MD, Marcie Marie McAllen of Duquesne, Janet S. Harris of Duquesne and Duane (Kimberly) McAllen of Penn Hills; grandfather of Darren and Dana McAllen, Todd McAllen, Keith Harris, Chad Harris, Penelope, Duane S. and Scott McAllen; also five great- grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Stevenson, Anna Ottavian, John McAllen, Fred McAllen, Sara Almose, Margretta Robey; also survived by nieces and nephews.
