Jack T. Riley, age 86 of McKeesport, died Friday, March 3, 2017.  He was born in McKeesport on April 8, 1930 and is the son of the late Philip and Mary Lacey Riley.  He served in the Army during the Korean War in the 3rd Infantry 7th Armored Division and received the following military medals; Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal (2 Bronze Stars), Combat Infantry Badge, and United Nations Service Medal.  He was retired from US Steel Irvin Works in West Mifflin.  He loved walking and was an avid sports fan, especially the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
He is survived by his partner, Dolores Chancio of McKeesport; son, George A. Sabol of West Mifflin; daughters, Sue A. Edwards of Duquesne, Agnes (Michael) Faulds of West Mifflin; sisters, Helen Uhrin and Nora Riley of Versailles; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Philip and James Riley.

Antoinette “Toni” M. Ashbaugh, age 59, of McKeesport, died March 4, 2017. She was born in McKeesport on December 14, 1957, the daughter of the late Anthony and Lucille Kolodziej Dumas and the wife of Joseph J. Ashbaugh. She was employed as a union secretary for United Steelworkers Local 2227 of West Mifflin for over 20 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Alan) Toth of Plum Borough; Foreste (Derek) Hess of North Huntingdon; sons, Winford Brock (Sophia) Holtzclaw of NC; Randy (Diamond) Keefer of McKeesport; brothers, Harry Dumas of West Mifflin; Martin Dumas of Lake Isabella, CA; Paul (Teresa) Dumas of Charlotte Hall, MD; Fred Dumas of White Oak; Carl Dumas of Orange County, CA; grandchildren, Christian Toth, Nathan Toth, Julia Toth, Lily Hess, R.J. Keefer, Charlotte Toth, Victoria Keefer, Charlie Holtzclaw, and Savannah Keefer. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Phillip Dumas, Regis Dumas, and Larry Dumas.

Edward Thomas Kreiner, age 87, of the Baltimore, MD area passed away on February 26, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Frank Anthony Kreiner Sr. and Helen A. (Conniff) Kreiner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Lieutenant after 22 years of service. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of several organizations which included the VFW, DAV, American Legion, Fleet Reserve Association and the Military Officers Association of America. Mr. Kreiner was also a 32nd Degree Mason.

Charles R. Jobe, 79, of Port Vue, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017. Born April 15, 1937, in North Braddock, he was a son of the late Peter C. and Velma Christy Jobe and husband of the late Cecilia Anna Sharf Jobe. He served in the Marine Corps and was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Barber School. He retired from US Steel as a Quencher Pump Tender after 35 years of service, was a member of St. Mark Parish, an active member of SOAR and Port Vue Senior Citizens, square-danced with the Franklin Squares and really enjoyed swing dancing. He is survived by his daughters, Charmaine Ann (Don) Greco, of Beaver Falls, and Shelley Meyers, of Pleasant Hills; and grandchildren, Donnie, Marcus, Cara Marie and Cecilia. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at STRIFFLER'S OF WHITE OAK CREMATION & MORTUARY SERVICES INC., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412-678-6177.
