Richard A. “Rico” Simica, age 47, of McKeesport, died April 18, 2016, at his home. Born December 25, 1968, he was the son of the late Richard G. and Albena A. (Ornowski) Simica.
Rico was the owner of Mama Pepino’s Pizza in Elizabeth. He enjoyed restoring automobiles and could often be found reading or watching the History channel. Always willing to help anyone, Rico was a wonderful brother, uncle, great uncle and friend.

Carl W. Ghrist, age 76, of Latrobe, died April 13, 2016, at Greensburg Care Center. Born April 7, 1940, in Greensburg, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Ethel (Detor) Ghrist.
Carl was retired from the asphalt industry. He enjoyed volunteering for the Salvation Army, where dressed as Santa to help collect donations for the less fortunate. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors.

Born March 17, 1931 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Clara (Tackas) McMillan, and beloved wife of the late Carl N. Olson. Patricia was a devoted mother and grandmother and found great joy babysitting her grandkids and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo with friends.

She was a member of the St. Mark Parish, where she actively participated as a member of Christian Mothers as well as the Ladies of Charity. Arline R. Clark, 92, of North Versailles, formerly of Port Vue, died March 25, 2016, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born July 16, 1923, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Arnold) Robertson and wife of the late Gerald J. Clark. She was an active member of the Point Pleasant Retirement Community where she entertained the other residents every six weeks with shows, often with holiday themes, sing-a-longs, and of course, her myriad of jokes. Arline was a member of St. Mark Parish and the Christian Mothers within the church. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mark Parish and John J. Kane Regional in McKeesport, and also volunteered at Kane Regional in McKeesport for over 15 years.

Born September 27, 1927, in Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Grace (Primerana) Costa and the wife of the late William Campbell for 60 loving years.

Rose retired from the McKeesport Area School District, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of the St. Patrick Parish, Christian Mother’s and the Christy Park Seniors. She enjoyed growing flowers and her own vegetables for cooking Sunday dinner, Holiday meals and for family gatherings. Rose loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
