Frank A. (Rock) Todaro age 94 of Glassport, died January 3, 2021 at John J. Kane Regional Center, McKeesport. He was born September 15th, 1926 in Glassport. He was the son of the late Ralph V. and Jennie Todaro; beloved husband of the late Jean (Dabruzzo) Todaro. Frank is survived by his sons Ralph V. (Sheila L.) and Robert (Bernadette), Grandson Jimmy Fulton, step-grandsons Scott M. and Shawn P. Stewart, 7 great grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews. Frank was preceded in death by sisters Mary Zaya, Rose Vicchio, Mary Ruffo, brothers John, Joseph, Nicholas Todaro and Nucci Ponzo and daughter Barbara Ann (Charles) Fulton.

Mark "Elko" Kokayko, 67, of Glassport died Thursday December 31, 2020. He is the son of the late John and Ann (Korposh) Kokayko. He is survived by his daughter Trish (Nathan) Crawley; granddaughters Madison and Hailey; and brother Jack Kokayko. He was preceded in death by his sister Joanne Williamson. Mark previously worked at Beneficial Finance and Allegheny Intermediate unit, was a member of the Christian Men's Organization, an avid golfer, an usher at Corpus Christi Parish, and a member at numerous social organizations. Visitation will be private. A funeral mass will be held 11am Tuesday at Corpus Christi Parish, Mckeesport. Interment following St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.

Marietta (Mary) Norelli, 100, of Glassport died Wednesday December 30, 2020. Mary was born February 9, 1920 in Frasso Telesino, Province of Benevento, Italy.  She moved to America in the 1950s and was very proud to become a naturalized U.S. citizen with the right to vote! Mary valued family above all things and was happiest in her home where she loved to cook and entertain, especially for Christmas and Easter.  In the spring and summer months she had the most beautiful garden. She grew all of her own vegetables, and of course grapes for her wine.  She loved fiercely and will be missed by many. Mary is the daughter of the late Augustino and Maria Josepha Norelli Cecere. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Domenico (Dom) Norelli. She is survived by her children Angelo (Peg) Norelli, Mary Louise (Ken) Feterik of Glassport, and Frank (Andrea) Norelli of Elizabeth; granddaughters Angela (Ed) Hart of Port Vue, Jennifer (Dennis) Burke of Glassport, Sara (Keith) Ressler of Pittsburgh, and Amanda (Andrew) Feterik of New York, N.Y.; great-grandchildren Eddie Hart, Kassady and Mackenzie Burke, Angelo (A.J.) Hart, Alexandria and Dominic Ressler; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Osada Jr. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Randy) Adams; son Robert (Jessica) Osada; grandchildren Scott and Laura Adams and Jackson Osada; sister Edna Monper; sister-in-laws Jean Ann Osada and Diane Stinner; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Betty Collins and Darlene Diebold and brother Joseph Weslock. Frances was retired from U.S. Steel and a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish and Ciloetes. Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Wed. from 2-5 and 6-8. A funeral blessing will be held Mon. Dec. 28 at 10am in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

She was born September 23, 1933 to the late William and Lelah (Ketterman) Davis of Rawlings, MD. Beloved wife of the late Emil D. Phillips Jr. She was a loving mother and is survived by her children Donald and Gayle Phillips of Altoona, PA, and Ronald and Linda Phillips of Elizabeth, PA; loving grandmother of Angela, Jacob (Lindsay), Crystal (J.J.), Tiffany (Jim), Janine (Jim), and Nina (Bill); 13 great-grandchildren; special niece Mona Harper and other nieces and nephews. Mildred was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Glassport, PA. Friends received Saturday 11-1 at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, at which time a funeral blessing will be held. Interment following Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

James M. Borucki, 64 of Glassport, died Nov. 13, 2020.

Jim was a CDL Operator for Twin Rivers COG. Jim loved to hunt and fish and was an avid runner and competed in the Great Race and several local 5K Races. He was very proud of his Polish Heritage and whenever he was around, Polka music was playing. He was a beloved Uncle to all of his nieces, nephews and now their children.  

His favorite place to be was Tionesta and the memories we all have of him are endless. Fly High Jim Bob! There will never be another one like you. You will be dearly missed by everybody who has ever met you.

Evelyn (Bubbie) Yonek Gooch

  Evelyn (Bubbie) Yonek Gooch, age 95 of Port Vue, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tues., Oct. 27, 2020.  She was born in McKeesport on Feb. 28, 1925 to the late John Yonek and Susan Mross Yonek.  She was the wife of the late Paul Gooch. 

After her children were grown, she enjoyed making hoagies at Fuzzy's and catering for Joe Winzek's in Glassport.  She loved spending time and cooking for her family, traveling, casinos, crafts, crocheting and especially spending winters in Arizona. 

She was the founding member of the Vermont Avenue Card Club where they shared many fun-filled memories. "Bubbie" lived her life to the fullest and always had room in her home and in her heart, especially at the dinner table for friends and family.

Kaczka, 86, of Glassport died Oct. 20, 2020.  He is the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Kumiega) Kaczka.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Elizabeth "Betty" (Braun) Kaczka; children Connie (Sean) Slattery, Anthony Kaczka, Christine Scaglione and Mary (Dan) Romanelli; grandchildren Gabrielle Masten, Dylan Slattery, Joe Slattery, Harry Slattery, Anthony Kaczka, Zachery Kaczka, Cherese Wright, Candace Kammerdiener, Isaac Yuhas, Gus Yuhas and Jaiden Romanelli;great grandchildren Alina Masten, Keanu Hitaffer, Emma Grahm, Noni Kaczka and Zander Kaczka; sisters Stephanie Edmundson and Mildred Prejean;also many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded  in death by his son Francis Kaczka and several brothers and sisters.  John was a retired barber in Glassport for over 53 years, a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish, American Legion and the PNA and also served in the US Marine Corp.  The family would like to thank Amedsys Hospice, especially Pastor Larry, and the VA for their care and kindness given to John.  A private visitation and burial will be held.  Funeral arrangements by Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport.

Michalski, 86, of Glassport died Oct. 7, 2020.  She is the daughter of the late Leo and Cecelia (Pryzwarthy) Michalski.  She is survived by her niece Renee (Tim) Zecchini; great nephew Anthony (Samantha) Zecchini; great niece Kristin (David) Hockenbroch; great great nephews Luca Zecchini and Ayden Hockenbroch; also other nieces.  Tootsie was a retired registered nurse for Braddock Hospital and was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish.  Friends will be received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Fri. from 6 to 8.  A funeral blessing will be held Sat. at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Father Wojcicki.
