Frances T. Osada, 70, of Glassport died December 21, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Francis and Minnie Weslock and beloved wife of the late Edward J. Osada Jr. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Randy) Adams; son Robert (Jessica) Osada; grandchildren Scott and Laura Adams and Jackson Osada; sister Edna Monper; sister-in-laws Jean Ann Osada and Diane Stinner; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Betty Collins and Darlene Diebold and brother Joseph Weslock. Frances was retired from U.S. Steel and a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish and Ciloetes. Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Wed. from 2-5 and 6-8. A funeral blessing will be held Mon. Dec. 28 at 10am in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Wayne E. Helsel, 82, of West Mifflin, died Dec. 20, 2020. He is the son of the late Earl and Alice (Dick) Helsel. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda (Harbst) Helsel; daughter Pamela (the late John) Relja; grandson Sean Relja; and sister Marion (the late Troy) Cambell. Mildred C. (Davis) Phillips. 87, of Glassport died Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. She was born September 23, 1933 to the late William and Lelah (Ketterman) Davis of Rawlings, MD. Beloved wife of the late Emil D. Phillips Jr. She was a loving mother and is survived by her children Donald and Gayle Phillips of Altoona, PA, and Ronald and Linda Phillips of Elizabeth, PA; loving grandmother of Angela, Jacob (Lindsay), Crystal (J.J.), Tiffany (Jim), Janine (Jim), and Nina (Bill); 13 great-grandchildren; special niece Mona Harper and other nieces and nephews. Mildred was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Glassport, PA. Friends received Saturday 11-1 at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, at which time a funeral blessing will be held. James M. Borucki, 64 of Glassport, died Nov. 13, 2020.
Jim was a CDL Operator for Twin Rivers COG. Jim loved to hunt and fish and was an avid runner and competed in the Great Race and several local 5K Races. He was very proud of his Polish Heritage and whenever he was around, Polka music was playing. He was a beloved Uncle to all of his nieces, nephews and now their children.
His favorite place to be was Tionesta and the memories we all have of him are endless. Fly High Jim Bob! There will never be another one like you. You will be dearly missed by everybody who has ever met you.

Evelyn (Bubbie) Yonek Gooch, age 95 of Port Vue, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tues., Oct. 27, 2020. She was born in McKeesport on Feb. 28, 1925 to the late John Yonek and Susan Mross Yonek. She was the wife of the late Paul Gooch.
After her children were grown, she enjoyed making hoagies at Fuzzy's and catering for Joe Winzek's in Glassport. She loved spending time and cooking for her family, traveling, casinos, crafts, crocheting and especially spending winters in Arizona.
She was the founding member of the Vermont Avenue Card Club where they shared many fun-filled memories. "Bubbie" lived her life to the fullest and always had room in her home and in her heart, especially at the dinner table for friends and family.

John A. Kaczka, 86, of Glassport died Oct. 20, 2020. He is the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Kumiega) Kaczka. Hyacinth "Tootsie" P. Michalski, 86, of Glassport died Oct. 7, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Leo and Cecelia (Pryzwarthy) Michalski. Norma J. Tyskiewicz, of Glassport, died peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by family, on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020. She is the daughter of the late William and Bessie Mae (Fine) McCorkle and beloved wife of the late Stanley Tyskiewicz. Norma is survived by her children Lynda (Michael) Whitcomb, Kathy Catalina, Norma Davis, Stanley Tyskiewicz and Elaina (Gregory) Skiba; grandchildren Ed Catalina, Carrie Scott, Megan Skiba and Emily Skiba and 5 great grandchildren.
Norma enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved endlessly. She enjoyed cooking and baking and waiting for spring so she could sit on the porch and watch the hummingbirds. She spent years painting pictures and doing ceramics , for friends and family. She loved winter so she could watch her favorite sports teams, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. She will be missed by many.

Patricia T. Foster (Gabauer), 79, went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2020. She passed away peacefully at her home after a long illness.
Patricia was born July 9, 1941 in West Mifflin, PA. She was heavily involved with her church St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Tampa; a member of the quilting club and the lady’s prayer group. She volunteered her time when needed and will always be remembered as a kind and giving person.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Anthony Gabauer, of Glassport, PA, sister Antoinette “Toni” (Howard) Evans of Glassport, PA. She is survived by her children, Christopher (Jennifer) Foster of Lutz, FL., Jill Foster of Brandon, FL., Jennifer (Jason) Wilkinson of Boiling Springs, SC.; four grandchildren Theresa, Brian, Kayla and Cody; four great grandchildren Miranda, Addison, Krystina and Koltyn; sister Judy (Harold) King of Glassport, PA.; brothers Tom (Ruth Ann) Gabauer of York, SC., and Rick (Leslie) Gabauer of Fort Mill, SC., and serveral nieces and nephews.
“May you rest in the arms of the Lord who formed you from the dust of the earth. May Holy Mary, the angels, and all the Saints welcome you now that you have gone forth from this life. May Christ who was crucified for you, bring you freedom and peace.”
Family and friends will be received October 10, 2020 from 3:00 pm – 4:30pm at which time a blessing will be held with Father Tom Lewandowski at Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 640 Vermont Avenue, Glassport, PA 15405. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the American Lung Association.
She will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, FL.
