Long, whom she is now reunited with in Heaven.  Marion is survived by her daughter Darlene (Mark) Rider of West Mifflin; grandsons Justin (Kathleen) Vitullo of Bethel Park and Jacob Vitullo of West Mifflin; sister Wilma Traud of FL; brothers Steve "Sonny" Estochin of McKeesport and Albert Estochin of McKeesport; sister-in-law Mary Ann Mularski; also nieces and nephews.

Stanley M. "Ducky" Kaska, 90, of Clairton, died July 29, 2018.  He is the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette Kaczka.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Dorothy (Garber) Kaska; daughter Cindy (Curtis) Tanner; sons Andrew Grant, Alan and Randy (Yolanta) Kaska; grandchildren Drew, Amber, Noel  (Jeff) Skorvan, Josh and Jaden; great grandchildren Alexa, Kylie, Ava Skorvan, Julian and Victoria Kaska;  brother John (Betty) Kaczka; sisters Stephanie Edmundson and Mildred Prejean; also nieces and nephews. Stanley was retired from P @ LE Railroad and American General and was a member of Holy Spirit Church in West Mifflin.  He was very proud of his football success with the Glassport Gladiators, Glassport Odds and the McKeesport Ironmen.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home Fri. 3-6.  A funeral blessing will be held Sat. 11:00 am in the funeral home.  Interment following Lebanon Church Cemetery.

 


Fumiyo "Faye" Sikorski

Fumiyo "Faye" Sikorski, 83, of Glassport passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 17th surrounded by her family.  She was born December 29th 1934 in Osaka, Japan. Fumiyo was the daughter of the late Genzaburo and Chiyoe Uchiki.She was the beloved wife for 62 years to her late husband Benedict Sikorski, loving Mother of Michael (Angie) Sikorski and Doctor Christopher (Barbara) Sikorski, proud Grandmother of Michael (Jennifer) and Gavin (Katie) Sikorski and Christopher and Elena Sikorski, and the very proud great grandmother of Chase and Camden who knew her as Grandma Faye. She is survived by her 2 sisters Taeko, Minako and a brother Tadayoshi, brother in law Joseph Sikorski and sister in law Armie Sikorski as well as many nieces and nephews who knew her as Aunt Fumiyo. She was a member of the former St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Glassport and was a very active member of the Queen of the Rosary Church and just loved Father  Miroslaus Wojcicki. She always attended Sunday mass until she became ill. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Glassport Pa. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10am at the Queen of the Rosary Church 530 Michigan avenue Glassport Pa. by the Reverend Miroslaus Wojcicki.

Carl DiGiorgio, 76, of Port Vue died July 8, 2018.  He is the son of the late Joseph and Adelina (Cannelli) DiGiorgio and beloved husband of Sheila (Moriarty) DiGiorgio.  He is survived by his sons Anthony (Jill Gashel) DiGiorgio and Carl (Diane) DiGiorgio; grandchildren Vincent and Samantha DiGiorgio; step grandchildren Kayla and Abbey Burt; brother Matthew DiGiorgio; sisters Carmella Ferraro and Norma Reza; also nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by brother Joseph DiGiorgio and sister Dora Jones.  Carl was the owner/operator of DiGiorgio Super Duper Market and served in the US Army.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Wed. 2-4 and 6-8.  A funeral service will be held Thurs. 10:00 am at the funeral home.  Interment following Mt. Mary Emma Hays

Mary Emma Hays (Hospodar), 93 of Glassport, passed away on Tues., May 29, 2018 after a brief illness.  She was born on Nov. 30, 1924 to Andrew and Mary (Bokomlasko) Hospodar.  Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Burton Hays and 6 siblings, John (Hobby) and Paul Hospodar, Margaret Urban, Rose Grivna, Helen Murawski and Irene Hospodar and sister-in-law Madeline (Mimi) Hospodar.  Mary was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish and its Christian Mothers Society.  She worked for the Draft Board during WWII and credited her fluency with languages in her success.  She retired from the Army Corps of Engineers at age 68.  She also worked at Holy Cross School and for South Allegheny in the Title One Program.  Mary was the proud mother of 6 children, 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren:  Children, Andrea (Joe Bernot) Vojtko, David (Debbie) Hays, Tim (Eileen) Hays, Doris (George) Protz, Eileen Hays and Brian (Eileen) Hays; grandchildren Jennifer (Robert) Wachs, Melanie (Jeff) Flickinger, Nicole (Brian) Ewert, Missy, Mindy and Amanda Protz, Megan (Jordan) Soyke, Samantha (Kit) Baldwin, Josh (Chrissy) Hays, Tim B. (Brittany) Hays, Lauren, Brian, Kathryn, John and David Hays, Richard (Kristen) Giannandrea and Brian John "BJ" (Tuesday Kenney) Hays and Ashleigh (Nate) Nix; great grandchildren Tyler and Dylan Wachs, Will and Ben Flickinger, Chloe, Owen and Logan Soyke, Vivian Baldwin, Emma, Maddie and Lucas Hays, Scarlett Giannandrea, Aria Jade Nix and Harper Hays. "Deano" Keener, 58 of Glassport died May 16, 2018.  He is the son of the late William and Belva (Matthews) Keener.  Dean is survived by his beloved wife Gloria (Walsh) Keener; daughter Kristen Keener; grandchildren Mykal Massrotian, Larry Jackson, Malik Jackson, Alaina Jackson, Trevaughn Jackson and Naveaha Jones; brothers Gary (Sheila) Keener and Daryl Keener; sisters Pam Nasal, Sheila (Joe) Lucey, Cheryl Ann Campbell, Nancy Sisko and Brenda Keener.  He was a beloved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Also, a very special friend to two very special little boys, Devin and Aden.  He was preceded in death by sister Teena Keener and brothers Bill and Georgie Keener.  Dean was an avid toy car collector and would repair them and give them to Devin and Aden.  Dean was always quick with a joke to make people smile and always willing to help when needed.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport Mon. 6-8.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Wojciechowski Funeral Home.

Walter P. Plesniak, Jr., 54 of McKeesport, died April 3, 2018.  He is the son of the late Walter P. and Mary M. (Adams) Plesniak, Sr.  He is survied by sisters Diana Farally and Maria Plesniak; brothers Edward Plesniak and Steve Nehila; children Rachel, Kara and Crystal Plesniak; son Bobby Derkis; beloved friend Alana Tewell; nephew Johnny Farally and nieces.  Walter was a union roofer and was a member of the Glassport American Legion for 15 years.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Thurs. from 2-4.  In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be made directly to the Wojciechowski Funeral Home.
