She was a member of Holy Name Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and she enjoyed shopping, crocheting and sewing. 

She was the loving wife for 49 years of the late Thomas M. Lovre; mother of Donna Rozgonyi of McKeesport and Patricia (fiance John Gretz) Lovre of Duquesne; grandmother of Jackie (Mike) Bedzik, Tom (Nia) Rozgonyi, Gregory (Jessie) Rozgonyi, Bruce (Sierra) Edwards, and the late Christina Rozgonyi; great grandmother of Marie Rozgonyi, Thomas Rozgonyi, Nevaeh Rozgonyi, Amanda Bedzik, Tamir Rozgonyi, Aiden Rozgonyi, Adeline Rozgonyi, Elana Edwards, and Alona Edwards; sister of the late Henry (late Barbara) Budahazi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 1-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2020, with Father Haynos officiating.  Interment will follow in Holy Name Cemetery.

Walter F. “Tut” Heid, age 89, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at home. He was a loving father, husband and a friend to all.

Walter was a graduate of Har-Brack High School and the University of Maryland. An Army veteran serving during the Korean War, he retired as a safety engineer for the steel industry.

He was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Twp., was a past president of the Central Lions Club, and a member of the Sutersville Moose. Born December 15, 1930 in Tarentum, he was a son of the late Walter F. and Caroline (Stem) Heid.

Walter is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverly Heid; children, Sheryl (Jerry) Heid Lazar of Perryopolis and Bryan (Cindy) Heid of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Anna and Joel Lazar; step-grandchildren, Holly (Dave) Croteau and Michael Scott; great-grandson, Alexander Croteau; nephews, Stephen and David Heid; nieces, Stacie Kennefick and Laura (Chip) Fohl; and great-niece, Olivia.
