Katherine Solan, 97 of Glassport, died Sept. 12, 2018.  She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Freelander) Hopkins.  Beloved wife of the late Albert Solan.  She is survived by daughters Laurie (Jim) Austin and Tracey (Chuck) Austin; son Gerard (Cecilia) Solan; grandchildren Caitlin, Emily, Neil, Haley, Seth, Grant, Joel and Jordan; also nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by sisters Helen Marini, Mina DiSegi and Ruth Connors and brother Jack Hopkins.  Katherine worked at Westinghouse Electric and was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish.  Funeral services were private.  Arrangements by Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport.

Julia M. (Kriss) Dill, 91, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg.  She was born June 20, 1927 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Pavelko) Kriss.  Julia was a homemaker, and was  the neighborhood "Avon Lady" for many years, and an avid bingo player.  She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dill; son-in-law, Ken Copeman; grandson, Michael Copeman; siblings, Helen Peroney, Eleanor Kubes and Peter Kriss.   She will be greatly missed by her children, Doreen Copeman, Audrey House and her husband, Edward, and Edward Dill Jr.; grandchildren, Chrissy (Jeff) Mastrangelo, Angie Sisko, Mark (Halle) Copeman, Susan (Mike) Martin, Debbie (Mike) Matthews and Allyson Copeman; and great-grandchildren, Madeline, Nathan, Sophia, Avery, Lucy, Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-7 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon.  A blessing service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Eleanor Krick, 87, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at RNC of Greensburg.  She was born March 25, 1931 in East McKeesport, Pa, a daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Fabry) Krick. Eleanor was a life time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Irwin. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a commercial artist by Matthews in Pittsburgh, a fashion designer in Canton, Ohio and was employed in the family business, "Krick's Country Catering" for over 40 years. She was a member of the Norwin Art League, Norwin AARP 3221, volunteer for the Norwin Chamber of Commerce,  and enjoyed painting, gardening and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother George Krick. She is survived by her nephew, Darren Krick and his wife Gretchen and their son Griffin, sister-in-law, Suzanne Krick. Services will be private.
