Joseph E. Ramsey, Jr., age 90 of Clairton, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Southwestern Nursing Center in West Mifflin. Born October 12, 1927 in Cambridge, OH, he was a son of the late Joseph and Matilda (Lipincott) Ramsey. A retired driver for Dick Corporation in Jefferson Hills, Joseph was a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church and a US Army Veteran of both World War II and the Korean War.

Robert W. Guzewicz, 76, of Duquesne, died peacefully on Friday, June 29, 2018, in Southwestern Medical Center. Born in McKeesport, July 13, 1941, he was the son of the late Edward and Olga (Gonchar) Guzewicz. Mr. Guzewicz was a member of Christ, Light of the World Church, Duquesne, The Knights of Columbus Council # 4210, The AARP Bowling League Chapter 3172, and an avid bowler. He was a retired Craneman of the former US Steel Corp. Duquesne Works and proudly served his country in the US Army. Beloved husband of Donna (Lamanna) Guzewicz; he is also survived by his loving daughter, Diane and her husband, Danny Sims of Cincinnati, OH; and a brother, George and his wife, Jenny Guzewicz of Palm City, FL.

James H. Weitzel, age 86, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018. He retired as food service director for Central Medical Hospital in Pittsburgh. An Army veteran serving during the Korean War, he was a former member of Holy Angels in Hays and attended St. Thomas a Becket in Jefferson Hills. He was a former chef at the Ankara Dinner Club in Pleasant Hills, and a former member of the Elks No. 11 in Lincoln Place and American Legion Post 0945.

James “Jim” “Buddha” Clair Harvey, 57, of West Mifflin, formerly of Clairton, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Jefferson Hills Manor. He was born February 2, 1961 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Charles Wilford Harvey and Rosemary Siler Harvey Petrisko. James is survived by daughter, Brittany Harvey of Vandergrift; brothers, Vincent (Valerie) Harvey of Greenock, Charles (Kerry) Evans of Finleyville; sisters, Virginia (Joseph) Nehila of West Mifflin, Mary Jo Harvey of Dravosburg, Charlene (Scott) Hart Snyder of Dubois; 4 nephews, 2 nieces; great-nieces, Audrey, Leonnah, Ja’layah and great-nephew Parker. He was a lifelong EMT and fireman having close ties with the departments in West Elizabeth, Clairton, Dravosburg where he was Fire Chief, and Duquesne where he was Assistant Chief. Born November 15, 1928 in Canton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Lester H. and Nora (Vanderhoff) Berrier and wife of the late Richard T. Black.
