Donald J. Turek, Sr., age 70, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at home. He was a retired funeral director with the William H. Craig Funeral Home in McKeesport and worked for various funeral homes in the area. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the VFW Post #803 in Clairton and a member of St. Isaac Jogues Church in Elrama, the Elrama Sportsman’s Club and the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA). He was an avid metal detector and enjoyed various outdoor activities.

Leonard Tramonte, 79, of Irwin, died Saturday September 1, 2018, at home. He was born April 14, 1939, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Michael and Julia (Falce) Tramonte and was also preceded in death by a brother Thomas. Lenny was a retired chef but more importantly a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved to fish and loved spending time with family especially pasta dinners on Sunday. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Teresa M. “Terri” (Hixon) Tramonte; his daughters Jennifer (Gregory) Eshom and Jessica (Steven) Dean; his grandchildren Gianna, Nicholas, Julia, Jacob, Sophia, and Olivia; his siblings Richard Tramonte and Madeline (Leonard) Fusco; also nieces and nephews including his special nephew James (Toni) Tramonte.

Arlene "Chee Chee" P. George, 79, of Port Vue, died Aug. 29, 2018.  She is the daughter of the late Emil and Laura Russen.  Beloved wife of the late Ronald George.  Arlene is survived by daughters Lynn George of Munhall and Debby George of Port Vue; sons John George of Collegeville, Pa, Joseph (Julie) George of Farmington Hills, MI, David (Karen) George of West Homestead and Anthony (Daisy) George of Springfield, GA; grandchildren Jessica and Sammy; brothers Emil Russen and Frank (Marianne) Russen; sister Paula Thompson; also nieces and nephews.  Arlene was a former employee of US Steel and also worked as a retail manager and bookeeper and also was a talented musician and played drums, she loved listening to country music, and was an artist she loved to draw and paint. She also had a passion for cooking and baking as well as camping and fishing. She loved spending time with children and especially her grandchildren.

Kenneth Wayne Holmes, 88, of Dravosburg, passed away at home Wednesday, August 29, 2018.  He was born December 20, 1929 in McKeesport to the late Jerry and Mary Cigrand Holmes.  Kenny was a loving husband to his late wife, Iva Beitler Holmes for 38 years.  He is survived by nieces and nephews.  Along with his parents and wife, Kenny was preceded in death by his faithful companion of many years, Betty Hollenbeck; sisters, Mattie Econovich, Emmie Holmes; and brothers, William, Charles, John, Jerry, and Harry Holmes. He served in the US Army during WWII and also served during the Korean War, he was a retired employee of US Steel National Tube in McKeesport, was a member of Dravosburg United Methodist Church,  was an avid hunter, loved driving cars and golfing, but most of all loved his family.  Kenny was honored and delighted to receive his “60 year” pin as a member of the Duquesne/McKeesport Lodge #731 of the Free and Accepted Masons.  Arrangements have been entrusted to I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4^th Street, Dravosburg,  PA   15034.  As per Kenny’s wishes, there will be no visitation; however, a graveside service will be conducted at Donegal Cemetery on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 am.
