Daryl Emidio Cecchini, 63, of Versailles, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born February 2, 1954 in McKeesport and was the son of Marie Carney Cecchini of Greenock and the late Emidio G. Cecchini. Daryl worked for the Westmoreland Water Authority and had previously worked at the former US Steel National Tube Works. He was a former McKeesport City Councilman and served as vice president of Council for 8 years. He was very active in the McKeesport area including coaching McKeesport Little League Baseball and Tiger Football. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Joyce (Dennis) Mathe of White Oak and Theresa Cipicchio of Versailles, brother, Joseph A. Cecchini of Greenock, and nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.

ROBERT L. KARSNAK, SR., 85, of Glassport, died Aug. 2, 2017. He is the son of the late George and Anna Karsnak and beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Kruzek) Karsnak. He is survived by his son Robert L. Karsnak, Jr. and Leann Karsnak both of Glassport and sister Johanna Karsnak of TX. He was preceded in death by his brother George Karsnak, Jr. Robert is retired from US Steel; a member of Queen of the Rosary and served in the US Army. Bob was a former member of the Christian Men's Organization and was a former cantor for St. Cecilia's Church. Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Fri. 2-4 and 6-8. A funeral mass will be held Sat. 10:30 am at Queen of the Rosary Parish with Rev. Miroslaus Wojcicki. Interment following Calvary Cemetery.

William E. Kruczek, Jr., age 74 of Versailles, died August 1, 2017 at the Village at Pennwood. Born May 7, 1943 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late William E. and Nellie (Palko) Kruczek, and loving husband of Kathleen (Edgar) Kruczek. William was a dedicated Versailles Borough police officer for 47 years, having been the Police Chief for 37 years. While serving on the force, he also worked as a salesman for Ungar Hardware and served the Versailles Borough community as part of the volunteer fire company. Most recently, he was an active member of the Versailles Borough Council. In his free time, he worked as a self-employed heating, plumbing and electrical contractor. William was truly a "jack of all trades" and was always there to help a friend or neighbor in need. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Wendy Grbach of North Versailles, William E. (Emma) Kruczek, III of Liberty Borough, and James Kruczek of Versailles; granddaughters, Ashley (Michael) Dennison of Port Vue and Jessica (Thomas) Pollack of Monroeville; siblings, Valerie Kruczek of White Oak, Pearl Perkowski of California, Raymond Kruczek of White Oak, and Stanley Kruczek of White Oak; nephew, Michael Scott and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and cousins. Leroy Earnest Neyman, 85, of Dravosburg passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Riverside Nursing Center in McKeesport. He was born May 13, 1932 in New Castle to the late Floyd and Ann Lenhart Neyman. Leroy is survived by his loving wife Carol F. Dalton Neyman; sons, Wayne (Twila) Neyman of Dravosburg, Leroy (Claudette) Neyman of Elizabeth; daughters, Carolee (James) Burns of White Oak, Lori (Jace) Younge of Elizabeth; son-in-law, Dale McCall of McKeesport; brothers, Raymond (Dana) Neyman of Lancaster, Floyd Neyman of Greenwod, SC; sisters, Clarissa Ord and Lana (Ron) Urbansky both of Dravosburg; eleven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen McCall, sister Delores McKelvey and brother Bobby Neyman. Leroy was a 1951 graduate of McKeesport High School, served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, was a member of American Legion Post 380 in Dravosburg, served as President of the Dravosburg Boys Club for 30 years, was a shortstop for the New York Giants, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his cabin in the mountains.
